Soulful Journeys Podcast with SJ, where I sit down with a range of people exploring their journeys and experiences in the aim to add to a richer narrative as to how and what we understand about each other.
On this weeks episode I'm joined by newly published writer @Nana_Pinero as we discuss his new book Fallen City (available for purchase directly on Amazon), along with some of the challenges he faced during the process, what advise he'd give to other aspiring writers and his plans for future novels and so much more. Make sure you're following the usual socials and subscribed to the Soulful Journeys Podcast.
This weeks episode was definitely a hard and emotional one for me to do, as I sit down with my very brave and open guest Jojo (@JoXoArtist)as she shares her experience with domestic violence. We also talk about support systems, moving forward, physiological damage and emotional scarring as she discusses openly a very painful part of her past. I just want to say a special thank you to her again for being so transparent and honest, she made this episode what it is. And for anybody listening to this that may be going through something similar, you are not alone, you are strength and you we hope that you find the courage to realise that you deserve better.
This week I sit down and chat with somebody that I admire and look up to and am lucky enough to say that I know personally, @coleenmensa as we discuss what its like to be a young black woman in her field, what her future aspirations are and what it means to help to provide a stepping stone for other women of colour to get a foot in the door. Hashtag #SJ as per usual to share your thoughts on the episode and also check out my brand NEW radio show @sisterhoodkhronicles on IG.
