Flirting 101: What the research says?

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 19, 2019 10:43

I went out and brew over this idea for a while. How do you effectively flirt. I asked my friends how do they like to be flirted with and it all a seemed very contradicting it seemed as if everyone liked a different approach. So I could not pin point what made flirt successful or what made it clear that is working. I went were I could find an answer and that was in a journal about social behaviour. In the journal I found a paper that made all the difference. I found out that there was 5 different types of flirting styles and each one is marked by a different approach and how well it is perceived and if that flirting approach is going to be successful.

Tone Deafness: When everything you are doing doesn't land?

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 5, 2019 9:24

What do I mean with Tone Deafness. Tone Deafness is all about everything you are trying is just not working out. It says more about the person you are trying to flirt with than about yourself. I noticed that a lot of people don't notice when you are flirting with them. It says more about them than about you. It is simple they can not perceive the tone in which you are conversing. Thus, they are tone deaf. People who are tone deaf most of the time need more to be convinced that they are worth the attention and appreciation of others. It also is about understanding your worth as a person. I will delve deeper into the concept and idea of self worth on a different occasion but this time we are discussing the story of my friend who went out on dates several times without being sure if they are dating or not.

Communication

In this episode I am breaking down why any type of communication is important. It is good to keep up communication even if you don't feel like talking. Keeping up communication is important because communication is the only way to improve the nature of your relationship. You have to sometimes force yourself if you want to keep up.

Girls only like Bad Boys, Myth?

In this episode I am talking a very thought and talked about phrase girls only like bad boys. In this I go a little on a tangents capturing many different angles on the myth but I get back to it. I want to look at it as a comeback from hiatus while working on the following episodes. I really loved working on this and this puts my thoughts about the phrase together. I ended it with distinguishing between good and nice. I forgot to add so much more about the phrase and angles on the show.

Taking it slow and why it is nothing to worry about.

I just wanted to point out that sometimes it takes patience to succeed in a relationship. It is important to adjust to the speed of your partner because who wants to take it slow. There is only 3 reasons why they would like to take their time. It is patience that eventually makes all couples succeed in relationships. Patience with each other and with oneself.

Hold my ....!: Learning the hard way?

Today is more of a rant/story time. I just wanted to share my thoughts on learning the hard way. There is no better teacher than the insane professor everyone hates because he teaches an intro class like an entire graduate program, because just to pass you need to stick with it and learn every time you get the opportunity. Then secretly cry in the closet at 2 am and eat ice cream. Because life is the entire last two sentences a series of highs expectations with breakdowns in odd places were you take every opportunity to learn.

Flirting 101: Enough said!!!

This weeks episode is simply about flirting which I would be saying is simply just, building a connection upon which you further your relationship. You can flirt, and build the connection and that is the goal with which you should respond or approach someone. I do not believe or think that flirting is about impressing people or establishing your dominance.

I recorded this episode a while ago but I think it is more prevalent than ever. I recently got back into the dating game and I feel like you never know who is your Person. I met one girl and she was not the one she was perfect but the person I met through her was mine. There were also a lot of girls I thought I would be good with but it was not meant to be.

This episode is essentially about why I believe there are a lot of good reasons to give someone a whopping and why you still shouldn’t. This is something I had to teach some of the kids I used to mentor. This is like a lesson he took his time understanding. I really believe it is a good breakdown of what difference understanding the meaning behind violence. This episode has a lot of sexual innuendos because it is the closest parallel people draw to sexuality.

Shut Up and Listen! How to argue effectively

Every now and then you get to know a good couple that just exceeds all your expectations. They will also say the most annoying thing in the world like we never fight. Even though You know that they argue, because they did so 5 min ago in the parking lot about how one parks the car. This is about how you win an argument and it feels right even if you had to compromise to win. Essentially I am breaking down how a couple might say the never fight, but might argue every 5 min about meaningless stuff.

This is the Break In for Stories that just can’t wait to be addressed. Earlier this week this happened: A wrestling Referee forced a young black wrestler to cut of his dreads. I am chiming in and giving my take on why I am not surprised that the same ref got slammed to the ground by another official in 2016 for pulling his racist shtick.
