Wolfie dissects the defeat to Man City and were Forest Robbed of a point by the Referee? To Buy Wolfie A Coffee! Click Here: https://buymeacoffee.com/forestfantv The City Ground was rocking, and for large spells of this game, it felt like Nottingham Forest were about to pull off something special. Wolfie is back to react to a heart breaking 1-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester City—a result that absolutely does not tell the full story. Despite City taking the points, the Reds put in a performance of immense grit and quality, arguably outplaying the former champions and leaving Pep Guardiola's side looking completely rattled until the final stages. Omari Hutchinson's equaliser brought the roof off, and for most of that second half, it looked like Forest were the only team going to win it. However, the mood turned from pride to pure fury in the 83rd minute as Rayan Cherki's winning goal was allowed to stand. Wolfie dissects the controversial lead-up to that strike, where Morgan Gibbs-White appeared to be quite clearly shoved to the ground, preventing him from blocking the shot. We're also looking at how Ruben Dias managed to stay on the pitch after a blatant second-yellow challenge on Igor Jesus. This brings us to the big question that every Forest fan is asking tonight: is there a genuine "Big 6" bias when it comes to refereeing decisions? When the margins are this thin, how can such an obvious foul be ignored by the officials and VAR? We want to hear your unfiltered reactions in the comments below—were you proud of that performance, and do you feel we were cheated out of at least a point? Make sure to like the video, subscribe for more honest Forest content, and join the debate. #nffc #premierleague #mancity Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

In this deeply inspiring episode of *I'm An Artist, Not A Salesman*, host Luis Guzman sits down with Eddie Orengo, a name you might recognize from the ring, but a story you won't forget once you hear it. Known to WWE fans as a sharp, dependable referee on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, Eddie shares the full arc of his journey—from a wrestling-obsessed kid in Newark, New Jersey, to standing in the center of the ring at Madison Square Garden, calling matches for legends like AJ Styles and John Cena. What makes this episode truly unforgettable is how raw and honest Eddie is about the grind behind the glamour. Before the lights and the live TV cameras, Eddie was setting up chairs at local indie shows, delivering oxygen tanks during the week, and sacrificing sleep to chase a dream most people told him was out of reach. It wasn't just about making it to the WWE—it was about proving he belonged there.Eddie walks us through:- What it was like to meet his father for the first time ever—at a wrestling match- His early days wrestling under the name El Bandido Jr.- Why he pivoted from performer to referee, and how that one decision changed everything- The phone call that changed his life and got him a tryout at the WWE Performance Center- What it felt like debuting at Madison Square Garden alongside wrestling royalty“I would've done anything to stay in this business,” Eddie shares. “Referee, cameraman, even setting up rings. If it kept me close to pro wrestling, I was in.”The conversation dives deep into how resilience, relationships, and self-awareness helped Eddie overcome the challenges of being overlooked because of his size, typecast in the indie scene, and dealing with the physical toll of wrestling in his early years. But perhaps most moving is Eddie's reflection on gratitude—for his mom, who raised him solo and told him to stay humble, and for his father, who gave him his first shot in the ring. There's also an insider's look into the business of being a WWE referee—how matches are timed to perfection, what it's like getting instructions mid-match from producers, and how the ref's role is far more than just counting to three. Eddie shares what it was like to ref one of the most culturally significant matches in recent memory: Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest in Puerto Rico. The emotion, the crowd, and the personal pride of three Boricuas in the ring is something he'll never forget—and you'll feel it too.If you're a lifelong wrestling fan, a creative grinding toward your dream, or someone looking for a jolt of motivation, this episode is for you. Eddie's story isn't just about wrestling—it's about identity, legacy, and believing in yourself even when the odds say otherwise.*Other highlights in this episode include:*- Why John Cena gave Eddie a simple but powerful piece of career advice- What it's like to be around Triple H and how much the game has changed under his leadership- Behind-the-scenes insight on the Final Boss storyline with The Rock- The importance of staying mentally and physically ready—even when you're not in the spotlight- Why Eddie considers refereeing Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre in Scotland one of his most challenging matches- How he balances being a public figure with staying grounded at home, thanks to his wife and family*Final takeaway?* The dream isn't just to make it. The dream is to keep growing, keep learning, and always leave the door open for the next kid from Newark who wants to be part of something bigger than themselves.- Follow the podcast: Search *I'm An Artist, Not A Salesman* on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.- Subscribe on YouTube: Full video episodes drop weekly with behind-the-scenes clips and bonus segments.- Connect with Luis Guzman on Instagram and TikTok for more BTS moments and upcoming guest reveals.- Reach out with guest suggestions or collaborations via the podcast's official site or DM.

Arsenal leave Stamford Bridge with just one Premier League point after a chaotic afternoon defined by early bookings, a makeshift back line, and a referee who lost control long before Caicedo finally saw red. We break down the six cautions, the way Zubimendi's early yellow changed our midfield, the impact of Odegaard's introduction, and Merino's equaliser that shifted the momentum — plus the late chance for Gyökeres and Timber that could have won it.Despite the frustration, it still caps off a huge week for Arsenal: the derby win, the Bayern performance, and now a hard-earned point with Saliba, Gabriel and Trossard unavailable. In Part Two, we roll through a midweek Who Am I?, a full WATG recap, VARse (including the Alvarez penalty rule?), and a look ahead to Wednesday night's match against Brentford — a must-win before the trip to Villa Park.Settle in for a grounded, honest review of a fiery London afternoon and what it means for the week ahead.Chapters:(00:00) – Arteta's Non-Negotiables Intro(00:58) – Battle at the Bridge: Setting the Scene(01:49) – Lineup Changes & Saliba's Late Withdrawal(03:11) – Chelsea's Fast Start and Cucurella's Free Hits(04:48) – Six Arsenal Bookings and a Referee Out of Control(07:10) – Caicedo's Red Card and the Play-Acting Debate(08:59) – Chelsea's Tactics: Diving, Disruption, and Referee's Impact(11:58) – Arsenal's First-Half Chances & Sanchez's Spills(13:01) – Conceding Early in the Second Half(14:58) – Subs: Odegaard's Impact & Madueke's Struggles / Left-Side Chemistry Issue(19:00) – Merino's Equaliser: Saka's Brilliance & Odegaard's Spark(20:30) – Arteta's Sub Decisions: What Worked & What Didn't(23:20) – Final Chances: Gyökeres Collides with Sanchez & Timber's Header(24:22) – Was This Still a Good Week for Arsenal?(27:48) – By the Numbers & Big-Picture Reflection on the Chelsea Draw(29:08) – PT.2 Who Am I? O'Callaghan's Mills manager Sean Doyle claims the referee 'lost composure' as his side fell to defeat in the Munster Intermediate Hurling decider. The East Clare men saw their quest for provincial glory come up short in the TUS Gaelic Grounds, with Upperchurch Drombane running out 3-20 to 0-15 winners. The Mills were reduced to 13 men early in the second half following two quick fire dismissals, and finished the game with 12 players after a third red card was brandished in the dying stages. Doyle says although he's proud of the manor in which his players battled on, the sendings off ruined the game as a contest.

Send us a textWe sat down with Danine Gonçalves, founder and chief visionary officer of The Referee Advocates, to unpack a simple idea with massive impact: treat referees like an integral and supported part of your club, build clear development pathways and watch the entire matchday experience improve. Danine brings decades as a player, coach, official and leadership professional, and she's using that experience to help clubs become great places for referees to work and grow.We dig into the broken parts of the system—referees thrown into games they're not ready for, clubs that see assigning as a checkbox, and a lack of mentorship that leaves kids isolated. Danine outlines TRA's answer: partner directly with clubs to set standards for sideline behavior, fund mentoring, and match officials to appropriate levels. We explore a cohort model with Google Classroom, on-field scrimmage reps, and weekend tournament learning that turns shaky confidence into steady game management. There's also a powerful mental health piece: training teens to regulate after mistakes and coaching parents on what real support looks like after tough matches.Expect practical takeaways for directors of coaching, assigners, and parents. Learn how a few dollars per game can support mentors, how presence on the touchline quiets volatility, and why data and feedback loops help everyone focus on quality. We also share clinic insights—from ceremonial free kicks to communication that keeps play fair and safe. If you care about retention, safer fields, and cleaner soccer, this conversation is your blueprint for change.Enjoyed the episode? Follow, share with your club leadership, and leave a review to help more people find the show. Let's build a culture where referees thrive and the game gets better for everyone.Support the show

Download REFSIX today: https://bit.ly/44rnMeoIn this week's REFSIX Podcast, we dive into one of the toughest parts of refereeing dealing with tricky managers and problem parents. ⚽From managing emotions on the touchline to communicating with confidence under pressure, we share real-world advice, practical tips, and stories from the pitch to help you stay calm, in control, and professional no matter who's shouting from the sidelines.
TALK TO ME, TEXT ITThree headlines, one thread: how rules shape the lives we actually live. We kick off with the latest twists in student loan forgiveness and income-driven repayment plans, walking through court pauses, acronyms, and the messy reality facing millions of borrowers who just want predictable payments. We ask the hard questions about fairness and affordability while exploring whether targeted relief could free up spending and stabilize household budgets without tipping the scales. From there, we sprint to the SEC and a controversy that won't die on replay. A veteran referee is “permanently suspended” after a string of disputed calls, and we break down how the conference's collaborative video system is supposed to deliver consistency. The process sounds airtight—multiple angles, constant communication—yet trust is fraying. We unpack who actually has the final say, why wording matters, and how accountability can disappear in a fog of procedure when a season swings on a single call. Then the smallest story hits the hardest: a commuter in London fined roughly $200 for pouring a splash of coffee down a storm drain. It's a clash between environmental protection and everyday common sense, a reminder that enforcement without proportion breeds backlash instead of cooperation. The fine gets dropped after public outcry, but the question lingers: are we designing systems for people or policing them into exhaustion? We close on a lighter note with a breakfast prompt that invites you to join the conversation and bring the debate back to the table. If this episode sparked a reaction—anger, relief, or a laugh—share it with a friend, hit follow, and leave a quick review. Brendan Allen picked up the biggest win of his career in the main event of UFC Vancouver. But as impressive as Allen's performance was against Reinier de Ridder, the biggest story of the night was referee Dan Miragliotta in not one, but two fights — most notably, the co-main event between Mike Malott and Kevin Holland. Following a strange and weird UFC Fight Night event, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to how it all went down, Allen's TKO win over de Ridder and the big takeaways, and where both fighters could go next. Additionally, they discuss the rough night for Miragliotta and if anything will ever change with officiating in MMA, Malott's win over Holland, Aiemann Zahabi getting his seventh straight win, Manon Fiorot's destruction of Jasmine Jasudavicius, and much more. We also dive into de-escalation tactics with coaches (“I'm very approachable…”), building credibility early, conducting productive postgame discussions, and balancing confidence with humility as you advance.
