Most of us remember a moment in our school years when a teacher, a mentor, or a friend profoundly impacted the course of our education and, perhaps for some of us, even the course of our lives. Those years at school between 5 and late teens, are unquestionable some of the most character defining and tumultuous. Teachers have the privilege and the duty to positively influence.   But who influenced these great influencers of our education system? This new podcast series, Teaching Tales will bring you the stories of graduate teachers, and pre-service teachers, who will share their reflections on the moments that shaped their teacher identity and their experience as learners.  This week, we welcome Jessie Truscott, a Master of Teaching Student at Monash University. Jessie is a preservice teacher specialising in English and Visual Arts.
