Welcome back to another Tongan Legends episode where we are blessed to have the presence Indigenous Scholar and Anthropologist, Maui Tā-Vā he Ako Dr. Tēvita O Ka'ili. We get into the great story of the Mauis and their contribution to the creation of Tonga, and how they still impact Tongan culture today.

We continue the creation story or Tonga and talk about the first Tangaloas and the islands they created. We also discuss the creation of man in Tonga and how that creation story defined much of Tongan society today.

Havea Hikule'o, one of the highest ranking and most powerful members of the Tongan pantheon. We discuss this Goddess, the islands in Tonga she is said to have created, her domain of Pulotu, and its effects on Tongan Society today.
