Why should we meditate? Meditation is good for drowning out noise, or being able to work towards our music of life without it distracting us. I explain what I think meditation is worth.
You're upset because I won't let you interrupt me? You're so silly sometimes
You ever wonder why you feel like you can't be yourself around others? The answer is in you. Hopefully this episode can make that clear
I realized that the scientific method is a formula for success and I think if you follow this formula you will be exactly where you want to be.
I think habits are super important to know about. You do habits everyday, you follow the same routines and the same patterns every single day and if you know how it works then you'll know how to use that to your advantage. If you know why you're doing what you do, noticing the que for a habit, then you can figure out how to change the routine to get the same reward.
This is the second conversation my girlfriend and I had in the car. I tried to understand a picture she sent that I disagreed with and I found out I didn't disagree, it was just two different contexts being talked about. I hope people listening and understand enough to know we are all on the same side.
I was talking with my girlfriend in the car and I deciding to start recording because it was interesting.
We all know guns can hurt people and they can protect people. so how do we as a nation figure out which one is better? I believe it is through listening to what others have learned and seeing both sides. It's easy to reinforce our own position. If we can change our position from the premises of no guns or guns and move our position to the conclusion, which is having a better world, then we can all communicate more productively and peacefully.
I try to show that people all want the same thing but have different ways of getting to that same place. Our premises are different, and we get caught up in it, but our conclusion is the same, we want that perfect world. Both sides are never stupid, there are intricacies that are over looked.
I want people to understand that thoughts to emotions and actions are what coal is to fire. Put that coal into a fire that burns a flame so big and bright, that everyone will see the real you, the good you.
being in an emotion really leads to closed mindedness because you get this tunnel vision. The emotion will lead you down the path of one thing, instead of all of them. I used genderism as an example.
Happiness gets you success, not the other way around. I'm gonna talk about what I think about Happiness and how to have it. There are two things you can do: think positively or think negatively. Prepare yourself before you get angry or negative.
I want people to know the difference between what the want and how they feel. You can always leave a voice message if I'm not clear on something and I'll always answer back.
This episode explains the differences between moral arguments and cause & affect arguments that I had found out in an argument about the N-word and power. Hope it helps!!
I'm trying to clear up what I think confuses people on what love is. Love is such a big and abstract thing to talk about. I know I didnt cover all of the topic but hopefully with other people that leave voice messages, whether they agree or not, I can put up their perspective and get more information on this concept of love.
Conversation is an important part of any relationship and can improve the quality of your relationship, with the quality of your listening and your words.
I'm trying to open up some areas of thought to help people with some perception. Perspective is really what affects the world around us.
