Wild Alchemy

In this episode, a high school friend, Kenzie, and I discuss what it was like growing up in a very privileged and materialistic "bubble" and not "fitting into" that bubble. We were the outcasts, the wild children, the weird ones...and we always did things unconventionally. As teens, this played out as promiscuity, exploration in drugs, and other typical risque teenage behaviors...but as we grew older, we found ourselves aligning paths yet again, but this time, on a completely different path than before. We went from trying to "Keep Up with the Joneses" in the upper middle class suburb of Dallas, Texas that we grew up in...to completely turning away from the way we were raised and returning back to nature and Home to ourselves.
