Every so often, production and Bravo will play their hand to show us who is in charge. Sunday's Potomac was a classic example. We were all dealt a shock when we were shown a 'never before seen camera angle.' But why now? And what does this mean for the rest of the season? And why is everyone on this show angling for a music career?! RHOP SUNDAY 728 NOTES ACT ONE ASHLEY GOING TO FOX5 NEWS WITH MICHAEL The charges against michael have been dismissed, ashley tells us.  All the housewives chime in and no one believes it. Gizelle: “I’m just concerned for my girl.” Yeah right gizelle.  OMG Karen brushing her dress and blowing it off the dustpan. She is THRILLED To not be at the center of controversy this season.  Oh ashley NOT THE SAGE!!  Ashley calls her mom and tells her they’re off to the fox5 interviews. Ashley’s mom sounds like she doesn’t believe this for a second. She’s had it out for Michael since he suggested she be cut off.  KAREN AND RAYVEN WATCH VIDEOS OF GRANDMA AND GRANDPA This is kind of awkward to show her this make her cry and then hug her.  Karen is glad that Rayven decided to sing. Karen: So I talked to Macy Gray… sure, as one does.  Weird that Ashley isn’t getting this opportunity.  GIZELLE WATCHES ASHLEY ON THE NEWS Can we watch Gizelle providing commentary live?  Ashley is saying even IF michael did something wrong she would deal with it and not let it go. I don’t believe that’s true at all. Ashley will stick by him as long as it makes her look good.  ACT TWO Monique has a podcast?! Is she trying to compete with me?!  Monique sends the sound engineer out to go get her some tea. My favorite ‘excuse’ to leave a room is from 90 day fiance when a doctor said ‘let me go get a pen.’  I don’t fully buy that monique is here being a good friend by listening to ashley. She just wants to stay out of trouble.  Monique shows Ashley the texts from Candiace talking crap about that michel video. Ummm monique sent it to her in the first place KNOWInG she would laugh her ass off about ti and then turned around and showed the texts to AShley. So random… is this a mary kay party?  Katie and her wig have arrived! They start talking about Juan’s birthday. Then Juan wanders in. I think Juan just wanders in from room to room in athleisure.  They talk about Ashley’s situation. Robyn thinks there have to be cameras at Monique’s house. Katie says that Michael approached her boyfriend in an aggressive way.  Robyn thinks Ashley has an arrangement. Even if Ashley did I feel like this point she wouldn’t admit to it.  ACT THREE RAYVEN GOES TO RECORD IN A STUDIO Oh so… we’re really following this huh…  Macey Gray seems confused as to why she’s here. We’re confused why we’re here too.  Rayven records one line and it’s over.  MONIQUE AND CHRIS TALK ABOUT ASHLEY’S SITUATION She just catches him up. Monique thinks Candiace has been on an attack mode with Ashley, and when Monique doesn’t agree with her, she thinks she’s taking Ashley’s side.  ACT FOUR JUAN’S HAUNTED BIRTHDAY PARTY Michael talks about bonding with Juan. At this point we know it’s Juan, yes, that michael was talking about? He seems emboldened.  Juan says his business partners are happy to move forward with whatever deals they have not that everything is resolved. And yet Oz closed…?  Gizelle calls Robyn and says Michael is here. Michael says he told Robyn he wasn’t coming. Gizelle: No charges?! HAHAHAAHH CAN WE GET A HIGH FIVE OMG I’M DONE SO AWKWARD!!  ACT FIVE Gizelle is so awkward I love it. Chris shows up with his hood on, surprised to see Michael. Candiace does an awkward wave. OMG THEY’RE STNADING AROUND AWKWARDLY ITS SO WEIRD.  It’s so odd that Michael didn’t tell anyone that he was coming, but then again, Ashley totally coached him so that they wouldn’t be able to plan an attack on him.  Candiace isnsits to gizelle she isnt mad. Meanwhile Ashley tries to lock Michael in a coffin.  Juan and Robyn arrive. Isn’t this a weird place to do a birthday party? You have to split up…  Ashley tries to scare Robyn. Doesn’t work. Michael: Maybe i’m scarier! Juan congrats Michael on the case, Michael acts like nothing happened.  The women go into a haunted house.  Karen flicks off a scary clown.  The ladies pull Ashley aside and Gizelle says that she assumed Michael actually did something because Ashley never denied it.  COMMERCIAL BREAK…  Beverly Hills 90210, are they playing themselves…??  ACT SIX They keep talking to Ashley, it’s the same stuff UNTIL Gizelle tells the interviewer that she doesn’t believe that Monique’s camera wasn’t working.  Ashley confirms that Michael isn’t gay.  Juan thanks everyone for his birthday but doesn’t thank Robyn and you can tell Robyn is waiting for it. Gizelle asks Chris what she talked to Michael about and he says outdoor sports.  THEN THEY SHOW THE FOOTAGE! THE REWIND AND SHOW WHAT HE SAID!  So, it’s interesting that they show this footage. It’s not clear if and how this will be addressed until the reunion. I can tell you now, Ashley will say it still doesn’t prove anything. They still don’t have Michael touching him on camera, just the aftermath of it.
