A new branch of Broad Strokes has arisen! Mostly Movies will focus on films we find interesting enough to get together and talk about for a while, each episode dedicated to a particular one. This first of the series covers Peter Jackson's "They Shall Not Grow Old", a World War 1 documentary commissioned by the Imperial War Museum that, using the latest film restoration technology, manages to reconnect our generation to one of the great events of recent history. Jackson's focus on the human experience provided a refreshingly personal perspective that is often lost in your typical History Channel documentaries.
