Podcast by Hannah Wheeler and Rowan Springle
Hannah Wheeler and Rowan Springle
This week is hard. This general social climate is hard. Have a small love story to make today easier.
Sometimes the things that make us happy come from sad places. This is one of those things. This week, your hosts hopes that this poem or the way they love it can bring you some comfort, or provide you some company, in a sad moment. Be safe. And Black Lives (Still) Matter.
This week, your host is back, and they want to go back to the D&D episode for a sec and talk about a passion within a passion: DICE! Let's discuss their history and the current artisan phenomenon Rowan's hooked on.
This week, due to some technical errors on the editing side, discuss Gael Baudino's fantasy novel and Rowan's favorite book, Gossamer Axe. Black Lives Matter. https://sites.google.com/view/black-lives-matter-masterlist/
This week, we have a short episode (to honor the time we should all be using to help BLM & make our world safe and equitable for POC), dedicated to fun facts about the namesake of the podcast.
This week's topic has been postponed in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and the recent/ongoing protests triggered by the murders of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Rather than spend ten minutes voicing my thoughts on a topic that brings me joy, peace, or relaxation, I will use my voice to promote the platform of Black activists, organizors, creators, and community as we fight to bring the world into an era where they too are afforded joy, peace, and relaxation. Racism is a poison and police brutality is one method of poisoning the masses. Black lives matter. Black voices matter. And as such, I'm recommending you listen to black and POC-headed podcast content in lieu of Bumblerbees. Thank you.
In this week's episode, sit down and have a chat with Rowan about D&D! Learn a little about the history of the game and why it's fun!
This week, chat with Rowan about everyone's hottest quarantine fav and the game that's topping all sorts of charts this spring: Animal Crossing!
