In this episode, we will have our special guest Laura, the Biblical Counseling director at CFNI in Dallas, TX, share about the Enneagram history and the viewpoints that Enneagram has had among evangelicals. In this episode, Laura discusses how long the Enneagram has been around and the dangers of putting too much weight in it. She discusses how we should not take it as our identity, but we can use it as a tool for personal growth instead. Laura briefly discusses her own type and how she observes those tendencies in light of her true identity and how she has applied the Enneagram tool in her own life.
In this episode we introduce our team. We explain why we chose the Enneagram, our Vision, and the meaning behind our title, “Can I Get Your Number?” In this episode, we will give a brief overview of the Enneagram and explanation of the types as well as introduce our own types. We also briefly discuss identity not being foundationally in or based on personality types.
