On this episode of The Adam Carolla Show, comedian Brad Williams stops by the studio! Adam rants about a “Keep Our Beaches Hate-Free” sign he recently saw, and Brad shares his thoughts on why politically charged people are so obsessed with symbolic signage like “gun-free zones.” They also discuss the pressure to post public tributes when celebrities die, and Brad tells a wild story involving Hulk Hogan. The two compare the chaotic lifestyles of Hulk and Ozzy Osbourne before wrapping up with a broader discussion on how today's culture reacts to controversial marketing and advertising.Later, Jason “Mayhem” Miller stops by with some trending headlines for Adam and Brad to break down. They tackle the bizarre controversy over Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad being accused of promoting “Nazi propaganda,” react to rumors of a Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau dinner outing following her split from Orlando Bloom, and weigh in on Ozzy Osbourne's wish for a lively funeral procession rather than a “mope-fest.”In the final segment, actor and former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Caleb Castille calls in to discuss his new documentary Nothing But A Winner. The film explores the rise of the University of Alabama's football dynasty and the leadership of legendary coach Nick Saban. Caleb and Adam talk about the intensity of college football practices, what separates good coaches from great ones, and why documentaries like this matter in preserving powerful stories.Get it on.FOR MORE WITH BRAD WILLIAMS:LIVE DATES: Growth Spurt TourBakersfield, CA - Fox Theater - Aug 1Thousand Oaks, CA - Fred Kavli Theatre - Aug 2Concord, NH - Capitol Center for the Arts - Aug 8Find more dates at Brad Williams Comedy .comTWITTER: @FunnyBradINSTAGRAM: @BradWilliamsComicFOR MORE WITH CALEB CASTILLE:DOCUMENTARY:“Nothing But A Winner”nationwide release on July 31, 2025INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: @ CalebCastilleFOR MORE WITH JASON “MAYHEM” MILLER: INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: @mayhemmillerWEBSITE: www.mayhemnow.com Thank you for supporting our sponsors:Homes.comForThePeople.com/ADAMoreillyauto.com/ADAMRosettastone.com/ADAMSHOPIFY.COM/carollaLIVE SHOWS: August 6 - Reno, NVAugust 7 - Portland, ORSeptember 12-13 - El Paso, TX (4 Shows)See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

On this episode of The Adam Carolla Show, comedian and political commentator Dave Rubin calls in to talk about the rise of artificial intelligence—starting with his own experiment to let an AI version of himself host his show for a month. Adam and Dave riff on the looming impact AI could have on jobs across all industries, before shifting focus to the challenges of living in Los Angeles under Mayor Karen Bass. Adam recounts a recent conversation with Rick Caruso about the state's wildfire response, while Dave shares how his move from California to Florida improved his quality of life. The two also dive into the importance of good governance, self-reliance, and the satisfaction that comes from building things with your hands.Elisha Krauss joins Adam in the studio to break down the headlines, starting with the internet's obsession over Pedro Pascal's so-called “hot girl anxiety.” They unpack the science behind physical touch as an anxiety-coping mechanism—and whether the internet's criticisms hold water. Then, they react to Jay Leno's recent comments on how modern late-night hosts risk alienating audiences by taking overt political stances. Adam weighs in on whether comedy still offers an escape from everyday life or has become yet another platform for ideological messaging. The conversation touches on authenticity, entertainment, and the shrinking space for neutrality in pop culture.Get it on.FOR MORE WITH DAVE RUBIN:TEQUILA: Copal - visit www.drinkcopal.comINSTAGRAM & TWITTER: @rubinreportFOR MORE WITH ELISHA KRAUSS: INSTAGRAM: @elishakraussWEBSITE: elishakrauss.com JOURNAL: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/author/elisha-krauss/Thank you for supporting our sponsors:BetterHelp.com/CAROLLAGo to https://hometitlelock.com/adamcarolla and use promo code ADAM to get a FREE title history report so you can find out if you're already a victim AND 14 days of protection for FREE! On this episode of The Adam Carolla Show, real estate developer Elaine Culotti joins Adam to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of funds raised by the FireAid concert. They dive deep into the bureaucratic mess of dealing with California's city and state infrastructure, exploring how red tape and incompetence stall recovery efforts. Adam and Elaine break down the traits of a badly run city and question the state's push for low-cost housing, all while using California as a cautionary tale for the rest of the country. The conversation wraps with a look at real estate listings in the fire-ravaged Palisades. Jason “Mayhem” Miller joins Adam to break down the latest headlines, including Tyler Perry's unapologetic decision to fire his own aunt and cut off financially dependent relatives, insisting he's not a walking welfare system. They also react to disgraced ex-Rep. George Santos admitting his chin is fake and revealing his biggest fear about heading to prison—namely, that the 30% filler in his face might migrate during his 87-month sentence. The news wraps with a surprising discussion about pets and the environment, as a new report exposes the massive carbon “pawprint” left by dogs and their droppings. Adam and Mayhem riff on how climate alarmists might eventually target your furry friends in their war on emissions.Get it on.FOR MORE WITH ELAINE CULOTTI:WEBSITE: elaineculotti.com INSTAGRAM: @lipstickfarmer TWITTER: @ElaineCulotti FOR MORE WITH JASON “MAYHEM” MILLER: INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: @mayhemmillerWEBSITE: www.mayhemnow.com Thank you for supporting our sponsors:BetOnlineHomes.comMINTMOBILE.com/ADAMListen now to the Life Kit podcast from NPR.oreillyauto.com/ADAMPluto.tvsimplisafe.com/ADAMLIVE SHOWS: August 6 - Reno, NVAugust 7 - Portland, ORSeptember 12-13 - El Paso, TX (4 Shows)See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Air Date: 7-27-2025 Back when I worked in the climate movement, just after the turn of the century, we knew that the extreme weather we were warning about would become ever-more clear to see in people's lived experiences and assumed that any doubts people had about the science of climate change would be wiped away with the evidence they could see with their own eyes as weather became more intense and less predictable. Of course, we didn't foreseen that we were headed straight into the eye of a storm of partisan conspiracism that would fully take over a third of the political spectrum. But here we are, head for high ground. The Lost Trees of Willow Avenue by Mike Tidwell Ebook Audiobook Be part of the show! This one is jam-packed with three conversations with 4 different people in the dental industry that really are making huge impacts. First up is two dentist that are using their time and talent to teach other clinicians from around the world how to implement the digital workflow in their practice. Dr. Milad Shadrooh (The Singing Dentist!) and Dr. Robbie Hughes are from opposite ends of England but both share the passion of education. They talk about their careers, what kind of courses they offer at Avant Garde Dentistry (https://www.avantgardedentistry.co.uk/) and how through a mentorship program, dentist can go digital both efficiency and confidently. Then we meet the CTO of Align Technologies (https://www.aligntech.com/), Zelko Relic. He also talks about the resources they put towards R&D, scaling a company to make over 1 million parts A DAY, what new technologies are currently being worked on, and how they are making the ultimate in providing the comprehensive solution to all. We wrap up the episode with Ben Weber from ModuleWorks (https://www.moduleworks.com/). What is ModuleWorks, well it's kind of hard to explain. You see, it's in about 90% of the manufacturing in the world. It's not the CAM, it's not the user interface, but it's in the background making it all come together. Ben talks about what ModuleWorks is, how it works, and why we can't live without it. Take it from Jennifer Ferguson from Ivoclar. Send us a textThe Moral LawThe Law of Nature can be a consideration for rules and behaviors of humankind. Being animals, we take our place in the world, but are different than the creatures with which we share our planet. There is something greater which humans seem to have that separates us from the behavior of animal kind. We all ascribe to some degree of consciousness, one that embraces goodness and rejects badness. Though simply choosing to be a good person comes with some degree of difficulty when stressed or overwhelmed. What prevents people from stealing? What about murdering and taking someone else's things? Doesn't Darwin describe the natural progression of power through consolidation and adaptation? In considering that there is a set of rules with which we are subject, though perhaps not always follow, that governs our behavior and thinking into our collective morality. Our suggestion is that the creator of this code is not mankind itself, who quickly abandons all rules to elevate the self. The giver of morality is God, the creator of all things. =====Searching for answers to life's questions? Need help finding a church? Drop us a line. In this episode of the HVAC Know It All Podcast, host Gary McCreadie is joined by Jamie Kitchen, an HVAC expert, Training and Account Manager at Danfoss, to talk all about TX valves for heat pumps. Jamie breaks down how these valves work in both heating and cooling modes and why they need to handle refrigerant flow in two directions. They discuss the parts of a TX valve, how pressure and temperature control the flow, and why Danfoss uses stainless steel in their design. Jamie also explains how proper installation helps prevent common issues and why external equalizers are important in many setups. It's a must-listen for anyone working with heat pumps. Jamie Kitchen from Danfoss joins Gary to talk about TX valves used in heat pumps. Jamie explains how these valves control refrigerant flow when switching between heating and cooling. He breaks down how the valve parts work together, using pressure and temperature to open and close. They also talk about why heat pumps need special valves, and how check valves help flow in both directions. Jamie explains why Danfoss uses stainless steel bulbs and tubes to stop leaks and handle rough conditions. It's a helpful talk for techs who want to understand heat pump valves better and install them correctly. Jamie explains how TX valves in heat pumps work like traffic lights for refrigerants, letting it flow the right way in heating or cooling. He shows how the valve uses pressure from a sensing bulb, a spring, and the coil to open or close. Jamie and Gary talk about why using an external equalizer helps the valve work better, and how check valves let refrigerants move both ways. Jamie also shares why Danfoss uses stainless steel parts; they last longer and don't break or leak. It's a smart guide for techs who want to understand these valves and avoid system issues. Expect to Learn: How TX valves work in both heating and cooling modes. Why heat pumps need valves that flow in both directions. How pressure and temperature control valve opening and closing. Actor and comedian Darrell Hammond joins Adam in studio to talk about his legendary run on Saturday Night Live and what it was like taking over for the iconic Don Pardo as the show's announcer. He reflects on the surreal experience of watching old sketches of himself, including a memorable one where he portrayed Bill Clinton on the phone with Saddam Hussein and Monica Lewinsky. He opens up about the challenges he faced during his time on SNL, and a harrowing story about getting arrested in the Bahamas and being left behind by a cruise ship. In the news, Mayhem and Adam react to Hunter Biden's explosive new interview where he claims President Biden took Ambien before the 2024 debate and defends his controversial painting sales. Adam reflects on how doing the opposite of his mother's advice led him to success, and he asks Andy whether Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David were playing exaggerated versions of themselves or just being authentic. Andy brings in a clip from The Merv Griffin Show, where he performed a spot-on Frank Sinatra impression, prompting a nostalgic discussion about Merv's legendary career. A note from Margaret: My family was visiting Kerrville, TX when the flood occurred. Having seen the devastation to the Hill Country first hand, it is impossible to put into words the scope of the disaster. These losses are close to home for my family and I know they have touched so many of you as well. Please join us in donating to the relief efforts by using the following trusted link. This week Amy talks with author and playwright Genevieve Kingston about her acclaimed memoir Did I Ever Tell You? Genevieve's mother died of cancer ten days before Genevieve's 12th birthday. Her mother prepared Genevieve for a life spent without her by creating a chest of letters and gifts to be opened on each of Genevieve's birthdays, until she turned 30, plus other life milestones like graduation and first love. DID I EVER TELL YOU? explores how these profound gifts shaped Genevieve's life and unlocked mysteries to explore as well as healing. Amy and Genevieve discuss how children process grief—and why it often doesn't look “appropriate”— and why building a community of trusted adults around children facing loss is so crucial. This conversation is a must-listen for anyone parenting through illness, processing loss with children, or simply wondering how to leave a legacy of love.
