You ever watch a movie or show that takes such a strong hold of you because it lacks NOTHING?! That's exactly how Shaka King's telling of Fred Hamptons death left me. I was completely in awe of this film and how it paid homage to a Black King taken from this world too soon. In this episode, I discuss my overall thoughts of this film from casting to it's amazing cinematography. I also discuss why it's important for black stories like this one, to be told by black creators only.
