David accuses Ed of not knowing what the hell he's talking about, questioning his trust. Jonesy is confused by Ed's manic behavior where one moment he'll claim: "Rally is-a-coming!", and the next: "These things are volatile, anything can happen!" After grievances are aired, Ed accuses the guys of ignoring everything he's taught them and challenges them to make their own buy/sell decisions for the next whole month. David tells Ed he's way too emotional and Jonesy confesses to having sex in a tiny house.

Jonesy and David are both down from their initial $500 investment. David deliberately disobeyed Ed's order to get out of a pot stock that nearly cut in half. This "surrender" caused him to lose everything he had gained and more. Ed gets riled by David's insinuating that his method might be B.S. Meanwhile, the market is in a downturn overall and some of the pot stocks are getting beat up. It's a crucial time and Ed is hoping that out of this will emerge some true winners for the long haul. Ed opens with an angry rant about how everyone needs to learn to take profits. Aka sell into strength! David is scared of, not just the overall market, but where life is going in general on this planet. His fear also manifests itself in a "Grumpy Fickas" conspiracy theory about a rigged stock market. Ed reassured us that pot stocks are in a growth stage and no one knows which one's will be the winners therefore it's not possible to rig this. Ed bashes the Stash app and extolls the higher virtue of his tried and tested investment strategy. A rally is on the horizon!

Jonesy's stock went up 140% without him and Ed uses this instance to hammer home how you can't use "what if's" when making decisions. Ed also covers a defensive strategy he's used in the past when stuck in a stock. Remember penny stocks are ticking timebombs waiting for good news to send them into orbit. Lastly, David and Jonesy are encouraged when Ed says that the support he is seeing in these pot stocks is setting the stage for a nice rally. When these stocks can't be pushed down there's only one way to go. Up!

The pot stock rally Ed predicted was thwarted. Stocks are breaking into lower lows than Ed has seen in a long time. Ed ordered Jonesy and David to sell their respective stocks. We find out it took Jonesy three tries before he could get out and, big surprise, David is doing his own thing and has not sold PHOT. Ed explains that the group is performing so poorly that even news of the recent legalization of marijuana in Canada wasn't enough to keep the group's footing. Ed explains that now is the time to play defense rather than offense and how important it is to have a exit plan at times like this and if you don't pull the trigger when he says, you're gonna learn the hard way. Jonesy and Dave freaked when TD Ameritrade went down and showed they had a zero balance. Ed hammers home the point that he is always looking for tight patterns in these pot stocks. They tend to creep up rather fast so it's important to look at the charts daily. It's also important we stalk many stocks because, after a rally, stocks take a while to settle and meanwhile that is the time to get into positions with some of the others we've been watching. What's the difference between a typical "ten bagger" and Ed's definition of a "ten bagger"? Also, what is a "block trade"? And while Jonesy is paralyzed in a stock that isn't going anywhere David is mostly cashed out from a big profit and ready to buy something new. Ed has some choices for him. Also Jonesy came up with a target price on a stock earlier in the week. Why was his target price different from Ed's? And Ed drives home the point that we are looking for a stock to get "provoked" and in awaiting that activity, it doesn't matter what the stock has done in the past. We also make fun of David for having a faulty TD Ameritrade app. Ed define's what a "low float" is. And he also explains why he had David take some profits on his trade and stash some of his shares.
