A US judge has ruled there is "probable cause" to find the Trump administration in contempt of court, after it violated an order against deporting Venezuelan migrants under an obscure wartime law.

She has a genuine passion for ethical wildlife and nature photography, and prioritizes unique perspectives and the safety of animals.Social media, we all know, is a mess. Anxiety, harmful comparison, grinding until we burnout, feeling like we need to feed the machine. Sometimes we may find ourselves wondering why we started our photography journey in the first place. We also describe ways to fulfill our need to create art without worrying about content metrics, insights, and performance constantly.

By navigating the fine balance between the thrill of creation and the fulfillment of genuine satisfaction, we aim to uncover a holistic approach to creative fulfillment. Furthermore, we explore the gratification derived from crafting original content and ideas, underscoring their pivotal role in artistic expression. We also unravel the nuances of keywording Lightroom catalogues and the art of culling photos in Lightroom, shedding light on effective strategies to streamline and optimize the creative process. Finally, we unveil an innovative protocol for infusing gamified elements into tasks we may find less appealing, ultimately enhancing productivity and injecting a sense of satisfaction into our endeavors. Vatican gendarmes shot at a vehicle's tires Thursday after an unidentified man in a “serious state of psychophysical alteration” rushed through a Vatican gate and into a palace courtyard, where authorities arrested him. Martha Stewart has responded to plastic surgery claims after she made history with her 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, making her the oldest model to grace the cover of the annual issue. A Photo agency has responded to the “near catastrophic car chase” narrative from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and said that photographers had no “intention of causing any distress and harm.” Special Counsel John Durham's final report — while it did not recommend any new charges — exonerated former President Donald Trump of any Russian collusion and vindicated his claims of being targeted by a politicized federal law enforcement agency. A report indicates U.S. military officials are now walking back claims a recent Syria drone strike killed an al-Qaeda terrorist and may have in fact killed a bricklayer father of 10 who had been tending to his sheep. Jamie shares How It Ended, an amazing partnership between AT and AD to transform the culture of sports medicine in a community. Phot credit: https://jamiekaywoodall.wordpress.com/ Jamie, go back over the timeline. DME - I wanted to be in the high school setting so I knew DME was short term A&M Consolidated - 2 years, then I left to be the head AT, open a new school, and work alongside my husband. Rudder in Bryan ISD 11 years - AT and public health mirror each other in the area of prevention. I felt called to go into public health and work with low socioeconomic status. We housed a few homeless students during our time there. During the master's, I got connected with HR and the school safety department. Felt like I hit a ceiling and thought it may be because we were married and did not want to put a spouse in charge of the other. The move to Brenham would really challenge me to grow. Assistant AD of Sports Med in Bryan ISD Brenham - 4 years Waller ISD Coach Allen, where are you now? Giddings Texas - DC / Head AT Houston Stratford HC/CC - 16 years Head AD in Benham because we wanted to retire Bastrop allowed me to be just the AD not a coach anymore. What is the legacy y'all left? Coach Allen - Do what is best for kids, even if it is tough for adults. Jamie - I would hope people would see how deeply I care about making the whole system. I hope that through my work, people would see that we win when there is a team approach. You discussed the talks at SWATA and NATA, what do you want to clarify? The AT department needed a lot of tender loving care. When I got into I realized how much prep work I needed to do. Use the PASS or SSSA to guide you and make sure you evaluate your program I was in the middle of getting my hands dirty and realized I did not have sinks. Coach Allen came in and made it happen within a few days. Coach Allen, speak to the AT, how do they start the process of building what y'all built? A lot of times there is a natural divide between the 2 Athletic Trainers are fearful the coach won't listen and follow instructions Coaches are fearful every player will be set out. Be willing to pitch in and do the extra things. Build trust Call to action: ATs - try not to take on responsibilities that are not yours and then let it become your job or expected of you. If I did someone else's job, I would remind them to take care of it. Jamie is one of the most efficient people I know. She handles people and situations really well. She went out and earned the changes and I was able to go in and ask for it. Eliot Allen - dallen2@bisdtx.org Jamie Woodall - jwoodall@wallerisd.net

Ep.123 features Raphaël Barontini(born in France in 1984, and currently lives and works in Saint-Denis, France. He has developed a singular and bold pictorial work, moving from a classical practice on canvas to large-scale textile and volume pieces that can be performative. He questions the portrait and the symbolism of representations in an aesthetic of collage that combines photography, silk-screen prints and digital prints. His works take the form of flags, banners, hangings, tapestries or even ceremonial costumes such as capes. His large scenographies and performances allow us to apprehend the different faces of his production. Smiling is known as the Universal Language. Smiles create connections between cultures and individuals. It is recognized and understood as a positive expression without a word ever spoken. Said best by the lyrics of the song When You're Smiling: When You're Smiling When you're Smiling The Whole World Smiles with You. Ken Rochon, President of The Umbrella Syndicate and Social Proof Celebrity Photographer, has made it his personal mission to capture smiles all over the world. Rochon photographed hundreds of people with “Keep Smiling” cards as an advocate for “The Keep Smiling Movement.” This nonprofit organization's primary mission a 501(c) (3), is to find the best smiles, the ones that radiate genuine love and acceptance. Rochon considers Barry Shore the founder of the “The Keep Smiling Movement,”. Shore became a quadriplegic after suffering from Guillain-Barré Syndrome. He credits a positive mindset for the ability to overcome his illness. He essentially used a smile as a means for overcome challenges. Ken Rochon had the opportunity to meet Barry Shore and at once recognized it was for a higher purpose and deeper meaning. From the moment Shore put a “Keep Smiling” card in Rochon's hand, an established photographer and world traveler, it sparked the idea to distribute this heartfelt message globally by capturing photos, publishing books, and a global search for the World's Most Beautiful Smiles! Rochon credits the caregiving journey with his mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease as the inspiration in his quest for life's deeper meaning. He believes he found it with The Keep Smiling Movement.

KIRKLAND, Wash. , Aug. 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GrowLife, Inc. (OTC: PHOT) (“GrowLife” or the “Company”), one of the nation’s most recognized indoor cultivation product and service providers, today announced financial results for the period ending June 30, 2019, and provided an overview of recent operational highlights from that quarter and the first half of 2019. The company experienced surging growth over last year, showing an 82% increase in revenue over Q2 2018, from $1.2 million to over $2.2 million in Q2 2019. Additionally, the company continued to make significant progress towards profitability, reporting $1.4m in gross profit for the six month period ending June 30, 2019, a 669% increase over the same period last year. This was due to a major shift in profit margins, which increased to 31% in Q2 2019 compared to just 9% in Q2 2019. “Beyond almost triple-digit revenue growth and almost surpassing last year's revenue in just the first half of this year, I could not be more proud of the team’s performance that led to an increase in our gross profit of over 600% year-over-year,” said GrowLife CEO Marco Hegyi. “As we continue to shift from a commodity business to a full-scale manufacturer of the industry’s leading cloning solution, our margins continue to increase and we continue to focus on profitability. As the cannabis industry, and more specifically the hemp-CBD market continues to experience explosive growth across the globe, GrowLife is extremely well-positioned to take advantage of this market opportunity through our innovative cloning product offering. This is illustrated in the fact that our revenue for the first six months of this year represents nearly all revenue generated in 2018.” “As we look to bring further innovation in cultivation technologies, we utilized this quarter to continue to invest and build out manufacturing capacity in order to meet our increasing backlog of orders as well as the further growing demand for the EZ-CLONE product line. We are extremely confident that through our strategic investment in EZ CLONE, we have positioned ourselves very well to capitalize on these expanding market opportunities. Where EZ CLONE was able to create a quality product with steady growth, GrowLife has propelled it into an international brand being utilized by some of the largest grow operations in the world.” SECOND QUARTER 2019 FINANCIAL RESULTS Net Revenue: For the period ending June 30, 2019, GrowLife showed net revenue of $2.2 million as compared to revenue of $1.2 million for the period that ended June 30, 2018, an increase of 82%. Gross Profit: For the period ending June 30, 2019, GrowLife showed gross profit of $675,773 as compared to revenue of $111,481 for the period that ended June 30, 2018, an increase of 506%. Gross Profit Margin: Gross Profit Margin, expressed as a percentage of the difference between revenue and cost of goods sold divided by revenue, was 30.71% for the period ending on June 30, 2019, compared to 9.23% for the period ending June 20, 2018, an increase of 232%. In this episode of OffStage Spotlight, we spoke to photographer and content creator Sam Dameshek (@samdameshek). Offstage Spotlight is a series where we highlight those in the industry that make an impact outside of the spotlight. Sam has shot superstars like Shawn Mendes, Bazzi, Miley Cyrus, Madison Beer, Post Malone, and more. At only 15 years old, he started to get tapped by corporations like Pac Sun, Aeropostale, and Tommy Hilfiger to take photos for their campaigns that would ultimately represent these global companies. Now 4 years later, Sam has cemented himself as one of the most in-demand photographers in the entertainment industry. From an outside perspective, it might seem like Sam has the perfect life of photographing beautiful people, hanging around rockstars, and living the absolute dream. But the path to his current level has not always been smooth. Jealousy from others, anxiety, and the normal struggles of adolescence all played a part in Sam’s story as he entered the spotlight as a sophomore in high school. His bio says he failed photography class in high school, but we’ll get into that later. A photo can say much more than words ever could, and there’s a lot more to Sam than just the man behind the camera. And none of this would have happened if he hadn’t first picked up the camera and taken photos of some friends who were skating and surfing. So, without further ado, here is our deep conversation with Sam Dameshek. Same Boat Huddle | For the Overwhelmed Woman Who Wants to Live a Life She Craves
In episode 19, I talk with you about how we’ve really lost sight of the boundaries we all used to once hold and have gotten away from. Is this why we are so overwhelmed and stressed and full of anxiety? Is it because we’re going against the natural rhythm of the days and seasons. What happened to waking up with the birds to get stuff done and then to naturally start to slow down in the later afternoon followed by dinner with the family, wind down and early bed. Instead we are giving up family dinners, hustling into the wee hours and burning the candle at both ends. With the seasons, we are hustling and pushing through every single month. We are naturally supposed to have a cycle of growth (summer), harvest (fall), death (winter) and rebirth (spring). We aren’t allowing ourselves to shed what no longer serves us. We’re not taking the time to nourish our soil to prepare for winter so we can grow an even more fruitful garden in the spring and summer. Instead we are trying to grow all year long. Is it greed? Is it competition? Can we reclaim some of these boundaries for ourselves? My challenge for you is to really take some inventory in how your functioning in a day, a week and a year. Are you resting on Sundays? Are you slowing down in the evenings no matter what is left on the to do list? Start to reclaim some of what you deserve and what will undoubtedly serve you better. The pot stock rally Ed predicted was thwarted. Stocks are breaking into lower lows than Ed has seen in a long time. Ed ordered Jonesy and David to sell their respective stocks. We find out it took Jonesy three tries before he could get out and, big surprise, David is doing his own thing and has not sold PHOT. Ed explains that the group is performing so poorly that even news of the recent legalization of marijuana in Canada wasn't enough to keep the group's footing. Ed explains that now is the time to play defense rather than offense and how important it is to have a exit plan at times like this and if you don't pull the trigger when he says, you're gonna learn the hard way. Despite the poor performance of the group as a whole there are still opportunities for fling trades.

Welcome to Episode #66 of the Zacks Market Edge Podcast. Every week, host and Zacks stock strategist, Tracey Ryniec, will be joined by guests to discuss the hottest investing topics in stocks, bonds and ETFs and how it impacts your life. In this episode, Tracey is joined by David Bartosiak, the host of Zacks Live Traderand also the Editor of Zacks Momentum Trader and Home Run Investor. 25 states now allow medical marijuana use and 4 states, plus the District of Columbia, allow recreational use. The market for marijuana and its products is expected to explode to $20 billion a year in the next several years. Of course, investors are wondering: how can I cash in on the pot craze? A few years ago, there were a lot of smaller companies that seemed to be promising like Growlife Inc. (PHOT). But most of those early adopters are now trading on the OTC markets for pennies. Dave and Tracey look at a couple of new ways to play the marijuana trade. 3 Stocks That Are in the Pot Business 1. Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR) went IPO in late 2016. This REIT buys buildings and leases them to growers of medical marijuana. It’s so new there’s no Zacks Rank and no analyst estimates yet. It has a market cap of just $62 million. 2. GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH) is everyone’s favorite in these marijuana stock articles. This British-based drug company is developing a cannabis-based drug to treat epilepsy. The good news is that it has passed three Phase 3 trials. The bad news is that it hasn’t yet submitted its NDA. 3. Scotts Miracle Gro (SMG) has spent $500 million in marijuana products and is the furthest along in actually having products to the market. It’s already selling the “Black Magic” potting soil, specifically designed for pot plants, in 141 Home Depots. It also hopes to be first to the market with an acceptable pesticide. But other than these three companies, Tracey and Dave had a hard time in coming up with other stock picks with decent fundamentals. Dave extended his search to Canada where he found Canopy Growth (TWJMF) and Aurora Cannabis (ACBFF) on the pink sheets. Canopy also trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange. But there’s little information in the United States about these companies and they aren’t ranked Zacks.com. What do Tracey and Dave really think about the marijuana stocks? Are they a fad? Or is there a real opportunity there? Tune into this week’s podcast to find out.
You have to be aware of these speculative bubbled frenzies and paid-promotion scams even if you're just an average Joe investor. I personally have received dozens of thank you's from readers who listened to my advice to stay away from these lousy investments and themselves saved millions of dollars in unnecessary losses. Remember my simple rule: don't ever buy a penny stock. Here's an audacious real-life, real-time example of how this penny stock promotion game works. Indeed, this is the most brazen stock promotion game I've ever seen, and I've seen them all. This company gets paid $17,500 dollars by BreedIT, a lousy penny stock trading at 19 cents per share, to write an article touting the BreedIT stock which they then pay to get sent out over the newswire services and which then even gets picked up on Marketwatch's Newswire feeds. This in particular article is all the more outrageous as it quotes yours truly and cites Marketwatch to try to gain some semblance of credibility: "As noted by Marketwatch contributor and major Scutify shareholder Cody Willard, Aegion items like 'water and wastewater, Brinderson, corrosion engineering and cathodic protection' will be in direct demand. It's notable that Willard is adamant about only investing in blue chip plays. Monsanto and billionaire investor George Soros have gotten their hands dirty and pushed to get into the marijuana business." Ironically, the article they're citing that I wrote for Marketwatch is all about avoiding penny stocks like BreedIT. Here's a better, more apropos quote from me in that same article where I mentioned Aegion as a great long-term marijuana play: "I’ll give you one more public service announcement that penny stocks up 1,000% on hype will take you to the poorhouse. Do you think I’m wrong that these penny pot stocks like $PHOT, $CBIS, $HEMP and $MJNA are going to leave retail investors with big losses when it’s all said and done? Comment below or come join the discussion on this stuff over on my Scutify page." You can click on any of those symbols and you'll see my track record and historical analysis for each one. In fact, every single one of those four pot penny stocks I mentioned in that article are down 60%-90% since I wrote that. Just in the last couple days, I've added 150% to my performance on Scutify Sentiment rankings as two pot penny stocks and one other penny stock Bearish Sentiment Views expired. Meanwhile, Aegion is up about 10% since I wrote that article. But back to BreedIT -- BreedIT has generated some $6,000 in revenues each of the last two years (you read that right, six thousand dollars in sales in 2012 and 2013) and would need to grow that number 30,000% to get to sales to 1x market cap. And the kicker is that up until the recently popped marijuana penny stock bubble got started, this BreedIT company which currently says it's in the business of "develops, licenses, and markets agro-breeding solutions for plant breeders and researchers" was actually called ProGaming and touted itself as "an online gaming platform for multiplayer skill game competitions on the internet." So let me be clear since this company and it's hypester shills have tried to associate my name with it -- I predict that BRDT will be right back down to its 52-week low of 3 cents per share and that it's headed much lower than that over the next few years. I don't think it has any product for "agro-breeding solutions for plant breeders" that will ever sell enough to make this company worth $1 million, much less the current $17 million market cap it has. After I mention how much money I have saved warning retail investors about pot penny stocks, the attacks commence immediately. Insiders and hypesters are sensitive about people calling out their scams. My favorite attack from the hypsters recently is the guy on Twitter who calls me an idiot for having nailed an 80% crash in ERBB. Now the hypesters are deleting their tweets to me cuz I made them look stupid by calling out their scams. Sigh. Forget penny stocks. The key is to have a strategy for finding the best revolutionary stocks on the planet and navigating the broader market swings with them. I covered much of this recently on a panel I sat on with Bill Harris of Personal Capital, Jim Hurd of Green Science Exchange, talking about how "disruption from drones, robots, wearables, nanotech, and cleantech is coming our way." Sticking with the best revolutionary stocks that I've outlined for years such as Apple, Google, Facebook while avoiding penny stocks and other scams will put you far ahead of most retail investors. It still won't be easy and it will be stressful, but a good game plan for the long-term is what it's all about. I don't know when the ongoing bubble-blowing bull market will pop or what will actually cause it to pop. I am doing my best to look out over the next year or two and get a feel for where the economy, earnings and stocks and other financial assets are headed, but when it comes to investing, I want to just slowly scale into the most revolutionary stocks on the planet and use tranche-trading to maximize my gains and minimize my risks over the next decade or two. If and when the markets do crash, which could be another 3 or 5 years out for all I know, I expect I will have navigated it by having lots of cash on the sides to continue building my favorite revolutionary stocks. Longer-term I think we'll have 10x our money on another Google or another Apple kind of 100x gain in some of our stocks, and that's the reason I risk my hard-earned capital to begin with. In the meantime, there are also great pitches being thrown at all traders as the markets bubble and swing. I've recently been focusing some on finding great bubbled up tech shorting opportunities, and there are a plethora of them in this bubble-blowing bull market.
