This an interview we did with Patrick Atallah (@bizpat) from 90:10 Group talking about the penetration of social media in MENA and how would he advise companies to start their social media efforts. One of the most interesting insights is that companies should not be afraid to make mistakes online since it is an evolving industry, but they must act quickly to fix them and by that show their professionalism. Furthermore and important point Patrick focused on was the risks of going online and engaging in Social Media Marketing is your company has internal problems or if your product is simply bad.
