We spent a lot of our childhood screen time watching game shows, as newish empty nesters Nanna wants to take some new found time to apply for a game show. Listen in as we discuss her options and she decides which she’s applying 4!

In this episode we discuss how we came up with our Grandparent names, Nan and Pappy and how as gen x grandparents may obsess just a little on what to call themselves.

Saturday morning received a FaceTime from our daughter, who is a new mom at 10:30am, we were in bed drinking coffee, enjoying our productive, yet relaxing morning working from bed. She laughs a little, comments that it must be nice, and we laugh a little because it is. Then, we get off the phone and this is where the conversation goes next....play along with us, grandparent or teenager?!?!?

Learning we were going to become grandparents was one of our most memorable days, we can say that now b/c it was just a year ago. Our thoughtful millennial daughter didn’t disappoint and our announcement was pretty adorable. Let us know how you learned you were going to become a grandparent.
