Welcome to the great reads project where we read stories by young authors who wouldn't have a platform otherwise.

In which magazines are discussed and we learn what Sherlock Holmes does. Because you probably had no idea he was a detective in spite of him being an incredibly famous person you’ve probably been seeing adaptations of since you were about five.

Just a short episode. A very significant piece of ancient Egyptian history with really beautiful language.

Violet actually dictated writing to me which was a lot easier for her. This is her own take on the issue of sexism in old texts, and the new perspective is quite good. It’s also her first time doing anything even remotely close to Christian writing aside from her prayer journal, so please be nice. Note: while I am myself an atheist I fully support Violet’s religion and I see nothing wrong with sharing her writing here any more than I would writing on the theory of evolution, so bigots back off!!!!!
