If you have followed me since 2016 you will know my story, I was hit out of the blue with my longest and worst M.E. relapse ever, the last 3 and a half years has been a life changing rollercoaster full of ups, downs, trial and error, inner self care lessons, crashes and blessings but it has been the last 6 months that things have started to greatly improve and shift in my health big time and I finally feel and know that I am finally on my way out of the dark.
So as I have mentioned recently, I have been working at being brave, more vulnerable and finding my confidence to step up and speak more about my life experiences, my healing and all the inner healing work I have done in my life to help me accept, forgive, feel blessed and thrive in my life despite everything I have been through. I had to do another dose of inner healing work before I could share everything, I had to be healed enough from all my life experiences and I had overcome a bunch of fears and self-doubt on my new path so I could take to the stage and bare my soul, so here's the beginning....
What do you do when something in your life isn’t aligned to your future? You know the feeling, that inner tug, a nudge and push that felling in the pit of your stomach that you know you have to release something. But you are holding onto it because its all you know, its safe, its too emotional to release, you don’t want an empty space in your life, you don’t know what to do without it, and have fears of what will people say. You will feel this pull and nudge until you can’t ignore it any longer - what is it? It’s growth.
We go through life having to accept things we can’t change or control, it doesn’t mean we have to be happy about accepting them but accepting with peace is better for our health, wellbeing then holding anger inside. But know that if you can accept then accepting doesn’t mean you have to forgive a person or a situation, it doesn’t mean what they did or what happened is justified or right, accepting just means you release yourself from the pain and anger that is keeping you chained.
It's summer, we love the warmth on our faces and the cool breeze through our hair. Have you heard the saying … “ Sometimes you fall down because there is something down there you are supposed to find” Life has a funny way of helping us, when we don’t see the little signs, the slight nudges or ignore our gut feelings about something, life can pretty much knock us off our feet so we have no choice BUT to search what we need to find, but most of the time, we don’t search, we fall, we hate the world, we sulk, and we wait for someone or life to pick us up and life will keep you feeling stuck and struggling until we surrender to find what it is we NEED to find.
We need oxygen to live, our body needs oxygen to work and to be healthy yet so many of us are hardly breathing, our body is dehydrated from the lack of oxygen, we feel weak, breathless, suffer mental fog and dizziness as a result of lack of oxygen. Breathing is free, natural and available to you at any given moment, you just have to choose to stop, tap into your own breathing power and breathe.
Yoga has taken many knocks, been in many heated debates and comments over the years, yoga isn't the bad guy, it is all the mis-information and little education about yoga especially yoga for chronic illnesses in this episode I share with you the harmful yoga and the safe yoga which you can practice to help ease your aches and pains.
