Often after a prophetic word is released over our lives, a season of delay follows. Tension is created as the gap between the spoken promise and the prophetic reality appears to grow further and further apart. There is, however, a divine purpose for the pause. During these times the Lord is forging strength and endurance in us resulting in the formation of character and increased capacity to steward the promises of God. It is critical to yield to the working of the Spirit of God in our lives during the delay.
