While pursuing a degree is already challenging enough, adding a side hustle into the mix can sound like a recipe for disaster. Welcome to the first episode of the Let's Get ChatTay Podcast! In this first solo episode, I dive into the reasons for starting a podcast this year (out of all years) and how the topics I want to cover in future episodes aligns with my interests and overall personality. Towards the end, I read a letter addressing my younger, 13-year-old self while reflecting on how I underwent depression, self-loathing, loss of friends, etc. in order to get to where I am today. Like most things, dealing with your inner demons is a work in progress, so I hope that I can give you some reassurance that it is okay to undergo hiccups with your mental health even after you've learned to let go of the past.
