If all the social media platforms were to shut down tomorrow, how many people who listen to you would still listen to you? It's quite a scary thought when you take a moment to think about it. As a culture that's so focused on the number of followers one has instead of the actual audience, it's a dangerous path to pursue. In this episode, learn why you must be clear on your intention when you're building your brand. Most people get this wrong. Although they're studying the metrics, they're interpreting the numbers the wrong way. Realize that social media is a wonderful tool. However, don't lose focus on what you're actually trying to build!

Opportunities are everywhere... if you know where to look. Even if no one answers, or if they slam the door in your face, keep going. We all go through rejection, it's just part of the learning and growing process. And like everything else in life, if you put enough practice into your approach, soon enough, your presentation will peak someone's interest. Having big ambitions is exciting. It can sometime keep you up at night and make you feel like you're living in the clouds. If you have any special interest, chances are, there's an online community that exists on the the web.
