The efforts of the mainstream media and investigative journalism have been limited in their ability to reach or resonate with the public on an international scale. Due to the overwhelming amount of information circulating, our aim is to address the questions and concerns that we feel have been largely absent or downplayed in conversation.

Following the highly public and visual murders and lynching of black lives in the recent months, we decided to take a break to reflect on the present and its inextricable connection to the past, acknowledging the loss of lives and the divisions that run deep within our society, and educate ourselves so we are better equipped to make the future one which sees the today as an abomination.
This episode is a continuation of the conversation on loss. The hosts work to unpack and delve more deeply into this theme and that of grief. The episode is moderated by retired psychotherapist, Joyce Beck, who provides helpful commentary and a professional perspective for the four interviewees, who have each experienced loss in their own way.
