Podcast by Matt Clark/Jorge Cardenas Jr.
The legend @bartacus finally sat down with us and revealed a small part of the recipe for the success that the shop and his familly are now ennjoying. I think the biggest thing to remember about our conversation is that, the calf hasn't always been fat. There is so much work that has gone into Rian's being known as central Kentucky's premiere vendor the quality meats, and top quality, often times homemade delicacies. Check them out on Facebook for more!
Dr. Patti Minter is our state representative for our, 20th district, in Bowling Green Kentucky. She is our voice in Frankfurt, so it was nice to sit down and get to know her better. She's a working woman, she's a history professor at WKU as well, so finding time for us wasn't easy, so we are all the more grateful. Our conversation got so real, that I was able to add more content to our vault, but what is left is fascinating. We talk about her work for veterans, of which Matt is one, we talk about her fight for pregnant women, of which Jorge acts like, and most importantly, she sheds some light on how she is able to be such a high functioning human; juggling all of her roles, as wife, mother, state rep, and professor. We were already huge supporters of her at Locally Yours, but seeing how legitimately genuine her desire to make our city better is, just cemented our assumption as true. If you want to help Patti Minter help us, just visit her website pattiminterforky.com or contact her on any of the social media platforms. ** On this episode we are pulling out of pocket, but we are putting away product, as Marc Dottore from Dueling Ground Distillery likes to say. We get down to origin of Linkumpinch Bourbon which is his flagship spirit and find out the beginnings of Dueling Ground Distillery. Marc has a fascinating way of getting you to completely buy in to his plan through an idea of rigid flexibility, and his ability see the big picture. We make our to do list, and stick to it as we are educated on bourbon in Kentucky, and all the interesting things that Marc has in store for Dueling Ground Distillery. Don't forget to jump over to their ig page, then go to their website, so we can support the only craft bourbon distiller in our part of Kentucky. Check out his full interview on our website locallyyoursbg.com, or on itunes or google play.
