There is a moment where I mentioned the LBGTQIA+ community but stated LGBTQ+ in my nervousness of getting my thoughts out. Please excuse this as I do strive to be inclusive and want to be sure I take into account all identities. This episode seeks to share insight into how we feel as queer women in the dance community. We want to be respectful of all identities and make a note that this is from the perspective of two dancers who identify as queer and female and are speaking from our experiences. Representation is so important, and we want our community to feel seen, celebrated and supported.
