    Rt Hon Anne Widdecombe is a widely known former MP, a convert to Catholicism from the Church of England, a novelist and a broadcaster. She served as both Shadow Health Minister and Shadow Home Secretary during her time in Parliament. In the 2010 Newman Seminar she reflects on the part that her Christian faith played in her work as an MP. The Newman Seminar is a partnership between the Hertfordshire Circle of the Newman Association and the University of Hertfordshire Chaplaincy.
