Marlieta Matthews is one the premier color guard technicians in the country. Marlieta talked with me about her recent appointment to the WGI Diversity Committee as well as some current events. We also talked about her life growing up in drum corps - marching in the all-girl corps Capitolaires then 27th Lancers and her time marching and teaching with State Street Review plus where we are in the activity today.

Michael Higbe is the long time president of the Florida Federation of Colorguards and very experienced and accomplished color guard director and adjudicator. Michael took some time to discuss his life in Florida, his decades of teaching and judging, plus his love of ceramics and his wife Julia!

Charles Albert Brown is an experienced movement judge having adjudicated marching bands and color guards all over the country. He is also a community activist having recently organized a peaceful 10,000 person march. Charles took time to talk about his family life, growing up in California, his experience marching with the 1988 World Champion Madison Scouts, diversity in the marching arts judging community and much more!
