A documentary style podcast shining light to those rad people in the mountain biking world!
The Shredders and Shakers podcast is an absolute gem when it comes to mountain bike discussions. From the very first episode, I was hooked and couldn't stop listening. Michael does a phenomenal job of creating an engaging and thoughtful podcast that not only educates but also entertains. It's clear that he has a genuine passion for mountain biking and the stories he brings to life through his interviews are simply captivating.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is how it delves into the backstory of trail systems and the people who brought them to life. Hearing about the journey of Christian spearheading the project for Rocky Knob trail system was incredibly inspiring. It really gives you a sense of appreciation for all the hard work that goes into creating these amazing trails that we get to ride on. The podcast provides insight into not only the technical aspects of trail building, but also the emotional and personal investment that these individuals put into their projects.
Another great aspect is Michael's interviewing skills. He knows exactly which questions to ask in order to elicit interesting and insightful responses from his guests. The conversations flow naturally and it feels like you're sitting right there with them, engrossed in their stories. Each episode leaves you feeling inspired and motivated to hit the trails yourself.
If I had to find a downside to this podcast, it would be that there aren't enough episodes! I found myself binge-listening to all the available episodes in one go and craving for more. However, given the quality of each episode, it's understandable that producing them takes time. So while waiting for new episodes may feel like torture, it's definitely worth the wait.
In conclusion, The Shredders and Shakers podcast is an absolute must-listen for any mountain biking enthusiast. Michael's ability to tell compelling stories through his interviews is truly remarkable. Not only does this podcast provide valuable information about trail systems, but it also serves as a source of inspiration and motivation. So, whether you're a seasoned rider or someone looking to get into mountain biking, make sure to give this podcast a listen - you won't be disappointed!

Ash and Andi had the idea to create a women's specific mountain bike event and gathering. From their combined knowledge of the bike industry they did just that and now Roam Rides is the go to women's mountain bike event in the world. They hold retreats and events all over the US in some of the top riding destinations along with sweet bike demos and much more. I've known Ash since she was slinging bikes for Liv Cycling and met And shortly after their birth of Roam so it was rad to sit them down and find out a little more about what they've been up to and what the future holds for Roam.
I'm Mangler and here's my new podcast series. This is an introduction on what I'm up to. Thanks for listening! @shreddersandshakers.
