You don't need to earn an undergraduate degree in exercise science, but you do need to have a grasp on some basic physiology and this is the first step. I'm Chris Severn, and I'm a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I earned my B.S. in Exercise Science at Iowa State University in 2012. I don't know everything, but I do know that I've met a lot of people that aren't making informed decisions about their health and are halfway relying on others to decide for them.
