The Grand Author says words. Sometimes Lizcosette is there. Hilarity insues as neither of them manages to actually convey the thought they were thinking before getting distracted.
so 2020 sure was a year, huh? Yeah, unsurprisingly during that whole mess we weren't really too excited to sit down and record a podcast lol
I got a bit carried away ranting about something pretty much everyone already knows about for way too long, this time with wizards. Ryley read a comicbook written by Twitch streamer Ninja. We talk about anime for a looooong time.
The Grand Author (Jory) and The Pretentious Proofreader (Ryley) get wildly off-topic trying to talk about watsonian vs doyalist theory for about an hour, featuring a long rant about Steven Universe. Then, Jory embarrasses themself trying to talk about metal gear, a game series they have never played, for a bit. Finally, after spouting random nonsense about their creative projects, the two try out a new segment called Honesty Loves Company based on truth or dare, and somehow manage to both lose! Also, Ryley breaks THE ONE RULE and Jory doesn't even realize until they goes back and edits the episode! Oops!
I did my best to edit around it but there were a bunch of problems with this recording session, not the least of which is the weird de-sync we had where his audio was delayed so it sounded like I was interrupting him far more than I actually did and some space where we were listening to each other talk became dead air. I'm still not really happy with the audio quality either, and I'm trying to figure out a plan to fix these issues for the next episode. Oh, also, I promise the next episode will actually have a script! Hello internet, and welcome to a peek into the chaotic, stupid world within the brains of The Grand Author and Lizcosette, creative types with a hint of crazy, a dash of nerd, and a whole heaping helping of stupid. In this, the very first episode, listen in astonishment as we: fail to start the show for several minutes, get distracted from a drag show and yell about traffic, try to explain one topic and end up discovering the subjects of several other episodes they want to make, and more!
