Part 1 – The Change Worth Making Kaleidoscope is a new podcast and a new twist on innovation. We’re talking about collaboration and, specifically, collaboration as the main driver of innovation. Hosted by startup platform Startacus, this three-part series has been made in partnership with innovation specialist and early-stage investor L Marks. In The Change Worth Making, we chat to Daniel Saunders of L Marks, Anthony Rose of SeedLegals and Matt Ballentine of Stamp London. Working across music, TV and legal services, Anthony is behind a number of transformative innovations, including BBC’s iPlayer. Talking about what makes innovation projects succeed and what gets in the way of innovation, Anthony tells us about creating a startup within a large organisation and explains why it pays for founders to first understand what corporates are doing and then do the opposite. Making the case for collaboration, Daniel tells us why it as important to embed entrepreneurship into a corporate as it is to embed startup solutions, while Matt shows us what entrepreneurship and cultural change look like in the context of large organisations.
