Play Episode Listen Later Apr 29, 2017 57:24

On April 3rd, President Trump signed into law a resolution that allows your Internet Service Provider to sell your private browsing history to third parties. Some argue that ISPs are put at a disadvantage with other companies like Facebook and Google, while privacy advocates argue that this allows ISP’s to sell your data with no restrictions on how that data is used. In this episode, we will talk with Shahid Buttar from the EFF and Meaghan Zore, a San Francisco Privacy lawyer about what this bill means to you, the internet user, and what you can do to protect your privacy.
