Trump ran as the anti-establishment wrecking ball. Two years back in Washington, he is the establishment — and Indiana voters know it. In this episode, Paul Rieckhoff breaks down the first real battle in the war for the soul of the Republican Party: Trump-backed challengers eating incumbents in a state Mike Pence used to own, while libertarian-leaning Hoosiers tell canvassers they don't want Washington's thumb on the scale, no matter whose thumb it is. The bigger story sits just outside the frame: 40% of Indiana is independent, locked out of a closed primary, and that's where the real action is for 2026 and 2028. From there, Paul looks two weeks down the road at Thomas Massie — the Kentucky congressman Trump is spending extraordinary political capital trying to destroy over Epstein files, deficit hawkishness, and opposition to a new Iran war. Is there still a place for a Massie or a Don Bacon inside the GOP, or does the independent lane finally crack open? Then Paul takes the case of Senator Mark Kelly to MSNBC: a decorated Navy combat veteran, astronaut, and Armed Services Committee member that Pete Hegseth is trying to demote for reminding troops they can refuse illegal orders. It's a direct attack on free speech for two million military retirees and a chilling signal to every active-duty service member watching. This is what the angry middle is up against — and why staying vigilant isn't optional. -WATCH full video of this episode here.  -Join IVA and stand up to Trump's Forever Wars. -Learn more about Paul's work to elect a new generation of independent leaders with Independent Veterans of America. -Learn more about American Veterans for Ukraine here. -Remember Independent is an Attitude. -Learn more about The Headstrong Project for Veterans, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), and Department of Veterans Affairs resources in your area. Plus, he breaks down the three potential talking points of the summit: the economic strangulation of Iran, the existential race for AI leadership, and the future of global trade.  According to government data, domestic terrorism investigations have surged 350% in the last decade. As high-profile tragedies spark disturbing praise in online echo chambers, the definition of radicalization is shifting. She Sought Out the People Who Threatened Her Deeyah Khan was editing a film when the BBC called. The threats were serious enough the police were already on their way. “Stay where you are,” they told her. “If there are windows in the room, move to a different one. Wait for us.” She had given an interview saying Britain would never be all white again. White supremacist sites in the United States picked it up and ran with it. One of those sites had been frequented by Dylann Roof, the man who murdered nine Black parishioners in Charleston in 2015. Now their followers were sending death threats by the hundreds, telling her to be afraid, telling her she should not exist. The police gave her a personal alarm and a security briefing. That night, sitting alone, she made an unusual decision. She would not hide. She would seek out the people threatening her, sit with them face to face, and try to understand who they were. I had the privilege of speaking with Deeyah recently on Cults, Culture & Coercion. She is a BAFTA and two-time Emmy winning documentary filmmaker. Over the past fifteen years, she has done what almost no one in journalism has been willing to do. She has interviewed convicted anti-abortion terrorists from the Army of God, the leader of America's oldest and largest neo-Nazi organization, and pro-Trump militia members plotting violence against refugees. She has done it warmly, with genuine curiosity, while also holding strong positions of her own about human rights, women's rights, and the basic dignity of every person. She is an inspiration and she has, but being respectful snd curious and asking questions without attacking, has been able to help deradicalize a major figure in the hate cult. Will 'unacceptable' Iran proposal push Trump to war?

Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. Diplomatic correspondent Lazar Berman joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today's episode. Yesterday, Iran handed over its much-anticipated response to the latest US peace proposal. US President Donald Trump quickly declared it "totally unacceptable." We delve into the ongoing skirmishes between Iranian drones and Gulf states, including Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, and speak about potential scenarios facing Trump in the near future. In a lengthy "60 Minutes" interview last night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that the war is “not over” despite Trump’s apparent desire to end hostilities and insistence that Iran had been roundly defeated. We hear highlights from what was on -- and off -- camera, including his quasi-acceptance of some responsibility for the October 7, 2023, massacre on Israeli soil. The US will host the third round of ambassador-level talks between representatives from Israel and Lebanon on May 14 and 15. What are the aims of the ongoing talks -- and how feasible is any kind of agreement as long as Hezbollah is still firmly entrenched in Israel's neighbor to the north? A former senior US official and a former senior Israeli official are offering a new vision to restart their nations' bilateral relationship. Berman met with former US ambassador to Israel Tom Nides and former IDF Military Intelligence chief Amos Yadlin last week and brings back a vision with some cautious optimism. Check out The Times of Israel's ongoing liveblog for more updates. Tara breaks down stronger-than-expected jobs data, rising wages, and bold predictions of a political and economic shakeup heading into the midterms. HOOK The economy is “smoking hot” heading into fall — at least according to new jobs numbers and top political voices. Tara says the data signals a major shift, and some insiders are predicting a political earthquake ahead. DESCRIPTION Today's AMPERWAVE DAILY dives into fresh economic data showing U.S. job growth beating expectations, with payrolls rising by 115,000 and wage growth holding steady at 4.4%. Tara and Lee break down claims that the economy is rebounding after years of wage stagnation and inflation pressures tied to federal spending and monetary policy under President Joe Biden. The episode also highlights commentary from economic voices like Larry Kudlow and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who argue the economy and political landscape are shifting rapidly ahead of the next election cycle. Tara also discusses broader debates over wages, inflation, purchasing power, and how recent policy shifts under President Donald Trump may be impacting economic momentum and voter sentiment heading into the midterms. KEY TOPICS Stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report Wage growth and purchasing power trends Inflation vs. earnings debate ADP employment data and revisions Economic comparison: Biden vs. Trump eras Midterm election predictions Newt Gingrich forecast of GOP gains Larry Kudlow on economic acceleration Federal Reserve / inflation policy implications SEGMENTS SEGMENT 1 — “Jobs Report Shock” Tara opens with the latest employment data showing 115,000 new jobs added, with unemployment steady at 4.3%. The discussion focuses on why economists were caught off guard and what the numbers suggest about underlying labor market strength. SEGMENT 2 — “Wages vs. Inflation Battle” The conversation turns to wage growth at 4.4% and debates over inflation's impact on purchasing power. Tara argues that rising wages may be slowly offsetting earlier inflation pressures tied to government spending policies. SEGMENT 3 — “Economic Policy Showdown” The hosts compare current economic trends with previous years under President Joe Biden and discuss claims that earlier monetary expansion contributed to inflation and wage stagnation concerns. SEGMENT 4 — “Midterm Earthquake Predictions” Political heavyweight commentary from Larry Kudlow and Newt Gingrich fuels speculation that Republicans could see significant gains if current economic momentum continues into the election cycle under President Donald Trump. HOOK Did the American Revolution happen because Americans hated “billionaires”? Tara says Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just rewrote American history — and the fallout is exploding online. DESCRIPTION Today's AMPERWAVE DAILY dives into a firestorm surrounding comments from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez about the American Revolution and wealth in early America. Tara and Lee push back on claims that the Revolution was fundamentally a revolt against “billionaires,” pointing instead to figures like George Washington and financier Robert Morris, both wealthy supporters of independence. The conversation then shifts into growing concern over increasingly extreme political rhetoric online, including social media trends that critics say flirt with calls for political violence against Donald Trump. Tara and Lee examine the broader climate surrounding political anger, online radicalization, and reactions to former FBI Director James Comey. Later in the show, the hosts discuss escalating tensions involving Iran, attacks on shipping routes and U.S. interests in the Middle East, and frustrations among Trump supporters over foreign policy decisions and military responses. KEY TOPICS AOC controversy over American Revolution comments George Washington and Revolutionary War history Political rhetoric and online extremism Social media trends involving Trump James Comey controversy Concerns about political violence Iran tensions and U.S. military response Strait of Hormuz shipping threats MAGA frustrations over foreign policy SEGMENTS SEGMENT 1 — “AOC Rewrites American History?” Tara reacts to comments from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claiming the American Revolution was a fight against the “billionaires” of the era. The discussion focuses on Revolutionary War history and the role wealthy founders played in financing and leading the movement for independence. SEGMENT 2 — “George Washington vs. Modern Politics” The hosts highlight the legacy of George Washington, arguing that America's founding principles centered on resisting centralized government power and taxation rather than class warfare. SEGMENT 3 — “The Rise of Dangerous Political Rhetoric” Attention turns to increasingly aggressive online political messaging surrounding Donald Trump. Tara and Lee discuss social media trends, normalization of violent rhetoric, and concerns over how political discourse is escalating nationwide. SEGMENT 4 — “Iran, Trump & Foreign Policy Frustration” The episode closes with a heated discussion about Iran, attacks involving shipping lanes and U.S. assets, and uncertainty surrounding America's strategy in the Middle East. Tara questions whether the administration's current approach is sustainable as tensions continue rising. Alright folks, welcome to The Kevin Jackson Show, where we don't just connect dots… we tell you who drew the map, then who tried to redistrict you out of it.Because Leftists want us ERASED. From history.I heard that while we are looking to negotiate with Iran, they attacked one of our ships and Trump responded with a “love tap”. I use that term when I was fighting competitively…But I smell a rat here. Every time negotiations get close, something suddenly happens. A ship gets hit. A militia wakes up feeling spicy. Somebody fires a missile like they're trying to impress girls at a regional warlord mixer.Part of it may be the chaos inside Iran right now. Power struggles, factions, instability. Or maybe this is just how Iran negotiates: “Before we discuss peace terms, we'd first like to set something on fire.”And I actually appreciate Trump's measured response. Because Democrats desperately want him to overreact. They want mushroom clouds so they can run on, “See?! He's insane!”But instead Trump treats Iran like a drunk cousin at a barbecue. “You calm down or I'm gonna have to thump you in front of everybody.”A couple strategic swats. A little reminder. Nothing theatrical. And that drives the Left CRAZY because restraint ruins their screenplay.Every time Trump appears on camera looking calm and competent, Democrats react like vampires hearing a church bell. Because they remember Biden.Good grief. Biden shuffled around like a Roomba searching for a docking station. The man would start a sentence in Ohio and finish it emotionally in Brussels. And I'll get deeper into Iran later because this situation still needs to play out. Geopolitics is like crockpot cooking. I have another great show for you today, and I will tell you now that it's impossible to keep up with the news cycle, so I give you what matters most to me.The other day I shared my insights on a comment made by John Brennan. He exposed that our votes haven't counted in decades. Presidents are supposed to be figureheads, and not activists for the people.[X] SB – Brennan 1Brennan was taken aback that Trump would dare implement HIS agenda.Brennan bragged that he worked for 6 presidents and he had never seen one of them do that.[X] SB – AOC on it's not possible to earn $1B$1B is unearned. That's right. Exactly correct.Market power. Break rules. Abuse labor laws. Pay people less. Can't earn that. Create a myth.AOC says it's impossible to earn a billion dollars. Impossible. Which tells you less about economics than it does about the size of her mental studio apartment. That's the Left's whole philosophy now: if they can't imagine it, it must be evil. These are people who think gender is a watercolor painting but success is somehow rigidly capped at “assistant manager at a vegan co-op.”And what a confession this is. Think about it. She's essentially saying:“No human being could possibly create THAT much value.”Really? So what's the value of a cure for polio? What's the value of electricity? Air conditioning in Phoenix alone should make somebody a trillionaire by August. Mark Epstein has repeatedly portrayed his relationship with his brother Jeffrey Epstein as distant and strained in later interviews, but financial records, property dealings, and witness accounts have painted a far more interconnected picture. Over the years, the two brothers were involved in multiple shared business and financial arrangements, including property transfers and overlapping corporate entities tied to Jeffrey Epstein's holdings. Mark also remained publicly supportive of Jeffrey after his 2008 conviction, at times defending him in media appearances and questioning the severity of the allegations surrounding him. Critics argue that the evidence suggests the brothers maintained a much closer and more active relationship than Mark has sometimes implied publicly, particularly given the extent of their financial overlap and the fact that Mark continued speaking on Jeffrey's behalf long after Jeffrey became internationally notorious. While there is no evidence that Mark Epstein was involved in Jeffrey Epstein's criminal conduct, scrutiny has persisted because of the broader questions surrounding how much people close to Epstein knew about his lifestyle and operations.Mark Epstein has also become one of the most vocal critics of the official narrative surrounding his brother's 2019 death inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. He has repeatedly stated publicly that he does not believe Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide, citing what he views as inconsistencies in the autopsy findings, jail procedures, surveillance failures, and the overall handling of the case by federal authorities. Mark has pointed to the opinions of forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, who was present during the autopsy as an observer for the Epstein family and later argued that some injuries were more consistent with homicidal strangulation than suicide. Mark has also criticized the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice for what he describes as a cascade of implausible failures surrounding the events leading up to his brother's death. Federal authorities, however, have maintained that Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide, and the official ruling by New York City's chief medical examiner remains unchanged.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Jeffrey Epstein spent years cultivating deep ties to Harvard University, embedding himself within elite academic circles despite his growing legal and reputational baggage. Through donations, personal relationships, and aggressive networking, Epstein positioned himself as a patron of science and intellectual research, surrounding himself with prominent professors, researchers, and institutional figures. He regularly visited campus, attended events, hosted dinners with academics, and used his wealth to gain proximity to some of the university's most influential minds. His relationship with Harvard became so entrenched that he was eventually given office space connected to the university, allowing him to operate as though he were a legitimate fixture within the academic community rather than a wealthy outsider buying access. The existence of Epstein's office at Harvard became one of the clearest symbols of how successfully he had inserted himself into elite institutions even after his 2008 plea deal in Florida. Critics later argued that the arrangement reflected a broader willingness among powerful institutions to overlook Epstein's criminal history so long as he continued offering money, networking opportunities, and access to wealthy donors. Harvard ultimately faced intense backlash over the relationship, particularly after details emerged about the extent of Epstein's campus presence and the university's continued interactions with him after his conviction. The controversy forced renewed scrutiny on how elite universities, eager for funding and prestige, allowed Epstein to rehabilitate his image by cloaking himself in the world of science, academia, and intellectual philanthropy.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

An unnamed correctional officer assigned to the Receiving and Discharge unit at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York was interviewed by the Department of Justice Office of Inspector General on July 15, 2021 as part of the federal investigation into the death of Jeffrey Epstein while in custody. The interview was formally recorded by OIG special agents, who identified themselves on the record before questioning the officer inside an executive office at MCC. The officer's identity was redacted throughout the transcript, consistent with many of the prison staff interviews conducted during the wider review into Epstein's incarceration and death in August 2019.The interview was part of the OIG's broader effort to reconstruct conditions inside MCC and determine what failures occurred in the lead-up to Epstein's death. Investigators questioned prison personnel across multiple departments as they examined issues including inmate monitoring, staffing shortages, housing procedures, missed rounds, and internal recordkeeping practices at the jail. The testimony from the unnamed R&D officer became one piece of the larger federal review into how MCC operated during the period Epstein was detained there, as scrutiny intensified over the breakdowns and inconsistencies uncovered during the investigation.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:EFTA00115477.pdf

When Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act in 2022, researchers estimated it would cut U.S. carbon pollution by more than 40% by the mid-2030s. After the Virginia supreme court blocked the Democratic redistricting plan, which would have netted Democrats four more House seats, Donald Trump celebrated. He called the ruling a “huge win” over a “horrible gerrymander.” But Trump himself has ordered many GOP states to gerrymander maximally. So here Trump openly declared that Republicans reserve the right to rig elections while Democrats do not. His actual position is that he and Republicans should play by their own corrupt rules, and that it's good for the election to be rigged in their favor. This comes as a new Marist poll shows Democrats leading in the generic House matchup by 10 points. Though polling averages have it at 5 points, if Marist is a leading indicator that hints at a blue wave. We talked to Ari Berman of Mother Jones, the great voting rights reporter. We discuss the Virginia ruling, why democracy can't function when one party serially cheats and rigs elections, why Democrats must respond, and what their long-term strategy should look like. Kneecap joined PoliticsJOE, fresh off the back of having a terrorism case, against member Mo Chara, thrown out of the British Court. It's also the premise of their new album, which they discussed with our very own Irishman-in-residence Seán Hickey. If you somehow missed the trail of the UK and Ireland's most controversial musicians, here's the TLDR. Kneecap were involved in a UK court case because member Mo Chara, real name, Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh was accused of displaying a Hezbollah flag during a concert in London in November 2024.UK prosecutors said this could amount to an offence under the UK Terrorism Act because Hezbollah is a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK. Prosecutors also alleged slogans supporting Hezbollah and Hamas were shouted during the performance. The case was initially thrown out because prosecutors failed to get the Attorney General's approval within the legal six-month time limit required to bring the charge. The Crown Prosecution Service later appealed, trying to reinstate the case.In March 2026, the High Court rejected that appeal, meaning Mo Chara didn't face trial. The judges said the prosecution had been started unlawfully due to the procedural error, not because the court ruled on whether the alleged conduct itself was legal or illegal.Kneecap argued the prosecution was politically motivated and linked to their outspoken support for Palestine. A media carnival, if you will. Hey, that's the name of one of the songs on their new album. Subscribe to How to Rebuild Britain now: https://linktr.ee/howtorebuildbritain Hosted on Acast.
