He had always believed that the people he knew and the people that he loved had always cared about him, but this was not the case. In fact, every person Truman had ever become friends with, had loved, or had talked to on the streets was a hired actor that was getting paid to act as the townspeople in Truman's city. Truman had always believed his life was real, but it was actually a 24/7 reality television show that detailed every moment of Truman's life. So, when Truman finally started to realize the secrets behind his life, he began formulating a plan to escape his television fame and find a life in the real world. In the premiere episode of "The Nerdsology Broadcast", host Nicholas Stone will break down the character of Truman Burbank, how the realization of his fake life affected the character, and how the movie addresses the classic enigma of fate versus free will.
