I Did, Not I Am

Hello again! After another delay, I am back with what will now be a three times a week podcast. Look for a short something from me in your feed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I am learning to love and get comfortable talking to the faceless world through a microphone, but I'm still hoping this can be a conversation. Reach out via social media or e-mail if there's anything you'd like me to talk about! This episode I share about my experience and understanding with cognitive behavior therapy and how a conference I went to affected how I think about scarcity vs. abundance, and especially how I view myself and my life through that lens. Please like, subscribe, rate, and share if this has been somehow helpful to you. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/restlesspastor/message

Mental Health and Hope (Through and in Spite of it All)

Hello friends, Brad the Pastor here after a bit of a delay. On this episode I share about my struggles with mental health, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts as a person of faith. This all came to the forefront in my life after learning and reading about the life, ministry, and passing of Pastor Jarrid Wilson. I also talk about how I found, and continue to have to actively work for, my mental and emotional well-being. It ends with some talk about connection, community, and the Kingdom of God. If you have any questions, please e-mail or reach out on social media. If you or a loved one are thinking about suicide or struggling with mental health issues, here are some resources below. Peace.
