Simon has been excelling in the glamorous world of suburban floristry for nearly a decade now. He became expert in the art of Ikebana during a gap year spent studying under a Japanese master in the foothills outside Tokyo. Rather than allow financial considerations thwart his artistic development, Simon performed the role of taikomochi (male geisha) in exchange for this expert tuition.
