Author and blogger Maria Murnane shares how she pursued her writing career and the story behind her popular Waverly Bryson novel series.

Maria Murnane spent nearly a decade working at a public relations agency in San Francisco before deciding she needed a change. She quit her job and went to Argentina by herself for what was supposed to be a two-week trip before figuring out what to do next. Instead, she ended up staying for a year to play semi-professional soccer, and while down there she also decided to write a novel based on her experiences as a single woman in San Francisco. Fast forward a few years, and she’s now the best-selling author of four romantic comedies known as the Waverly Bryson books, which have sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide.  Cassidy Lane, her first non-Waverly novel, was released in March, and Katwalk, another stand-alone story, will be released later this year. I am so super excited to have award-winning author Maria Murnane who wrote "Perfect on Paper" on my radio show this month. I met Maria in August at the DWC/Boston networking event where she was invited to speak on her funny, witty, and truly captivating book. "Perfect on Paper" I was so fortunate to have some real girl-time chit chat with Maria, and she is just as engaging in real life, as she was in the spotlight.
