No Jamie this week so Iain and Scott are joined by Ray from Light Reading, on what may well be his last ever appearance on the pod. They start by reviewing Iain’s investigation into the competing claims of 5G leadership among the big kit vendors. In a week in which the coronavirus outbreak was upgraded to a pandemic, they move on to discuss how it’s affecting the business word and then conclude with a look at how optical networks are now arguably more important than ever.
No Jamie, that doesn't say IceCap........ It was E3 this week, and we're go full anti-cynical Brit mode against these cliche gamers and their whole enjoying games shtick by moaning about games! Almost makes you wonder why we pretend to like them... PSO2 is cool though, that's a good takeaway from tonight!
No Jamie this week so instead Benjii is joined by Maeve. Yes - they managed to complete a full podcast together. All joking aside, this week's podcast delves into the topic of Leaving Neverland, the HBO/Channel 4 documentary around the lives of Wade Robson and Jeff Safechuck - who when younger were the alleged victims of abuse from Michael Jackson. Maeve and Benjii discuss the new allegations, the murkiness that has shrouded Jackson's private life for years and if on this occasion it's impossible to reconcile the artist from their art. The pair also talk about their memories of Luke Perry and Keith Flint, both of which sadly passing away this week, the problem Sony has with Anthem and Record Store Day 2019 - in all their cynical glory about the day dedicated to buying "forgotten music." Debutový román Annabel Pitcher, ktorá očarila slovenských čitateľov knihou s úplne šialeným názvom Kečupové oblaky. Jamie sa práve nasťahoval do nového domu s otcom a staršou sestrou Jasmine. Dvojička Jasmine Rose zomrela pred piatimi rokmi pri teroristickom útoku. Rodičov zachvátil neopísateľný žiaľ a Jasmine si dala pírsing všade, kam sa len dalo, zafarbila si vlasy naružovo a prestala jesť. No Jamie celý ten čas nevyronil ani slzu.
