I want to share with you just a couple of verses in Acts 17, verses 16 and 17. "Now, while Paul was waiting for them in Athens, his spirit was being provoked within him as he was observing the city full of idols. So he was reasoning in the synagogue with the Jews and the god-fearing Gentiles. And in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be present."

Alright, so I've already recorded Acts 16, Part 1, which means there must be a part 2. And so today is Act Chapter 16, part 2. I'm going to jump in halfway through the story. So if you didn't catch Part 1, you should read Acts Chapter 16 to get the whole story. But today, I'm going to read Acts Chapter 16 versus 22 through 34. There is a story in acts that I absolutely love. This is actually going to be Acts, Chapter 16, Part One. It is a story that Paul and Silas went through. And there's so many points about the story that I really want to bring out and encourage you with.

All right, let's get started with a prayer to get us kind of focused and our minds on the Lord. Father, we come to you right now and we ask that you be head of every part of our life. Lord, we are constantly striving to do better, to be better in so many areas of our life.

God I come to you right now knowing that there are stories in my life that I need to share with the people around me. Father, I know that you have been faithful over and over again in my life and in the lives of my friends. And I pray, Father, that you give us the boldness and the wisdom to know when to share those stories and when to speak up. Father, so that more people will know you. I thank you, Lord, for this opportunity to share your word. 

Alright, so I might sound a little tired this morning for this podcast, but I just have to share with you how this morning has gone. Just to have a little setup before this morning, last week I got to spend some time with family and I really was thinking about how to get started with these podcasts. What I decided that I need is that I need to be a lot more intentional and that to be intentional, I'm going to have to have to make a schedule...

Maybe I should be surprised, shocked or confused about this new calling. Secretly, I've hoped for it. I thought for a couple decades that I don't deserve it. But the Lord gives us all sorts of things we don't deserve. There is a story——always there's a story——about how and why we end up where we are. So join me in this first episode to hear more about the story. God has been writing in my heart and in my life. He is amazing. No doubt.
