Seth, Dustin, and Kelly talk about the inspiration behind their favourite cocktail creations.

Dustin, Jackson, and Seth have a combined age of 125, and a combined bar career of 63 years. We sit around after work and talk about how the old days were so much better, how liquor and late night breakfast food make people fight, and how these young bartenders are always on our lawns.

Seth, Kelly, Trevor, and a bit of Bria, talk about Covid, Kelly’s experience trying to find a job in Toronto, and racism in the bar industry. This episode is a little long, but we got carried away. That’s what happens when you’re (takes off sunglasses) at the wood.

Creativity. I’ve noticed that career bar staff are usually creative types, with side projects like playing music, painting, writing, etc. What is it about this industry that attracts creative people? I sit down with Trevor Thomas and Steven Kievit and talk about why we need to express ourselves.
