Becoming Relevant Episode 1- I introduce the point of this podcast as a digital journal of my life as a content creator. My first day was not as successful as I would have liked but I am committed to posting regularly.
Do you ever want to just blow up emotionally or react?? How can we understand ourselves and build strength to find peace as we wade through the storms in life?
Don't say sorry for being real with a person- that takes courage and strength. Do not hide from being honest about your life. Share with people!!
I have been meeting a ton of amazing people this week who have mentored me a lot in a short amount of time. I am someone who wants to force my way- but what's the merit in being able to adapt?
I usually am so involved in my schedule that I usually say no to certain opportunities. I am learning that saying yes once in a while can be freeing for me!
Today I felt rushed with all that I needed to do that I felt paralyzed. By taking a few minutes to rest, I was able to find productivity to finish my chores and errands.
The rain today made me stop and listen. I found peace in listening to what was going around me as opposed to blocking it out with a million of my thoughts.
Do you really listen to where you are at in life? Or are you running from yourself? Take time to listen to yourself.
Taking time to listen to yourself will help you find peace in a situation that is frustrating or causing you angst!
I tend to self inflict a lot of hurt in mind. Here is how I combat those thoughts and build self-love
Gratitude can heal you- by being present in our friendships, we can find a gratitude that is healing to our minds.
I did restorative yoga and I noticed my thoughts were all over the place- I became frustrated. Am I meditating incorrectly?!
Social media has lot of benefits that I love to stay to connected to those around me. At the same time, if it is not used with caution it can be hurtful to our mental health- listen to why!
