Join me as we make the decision to BREAKOUT this year! We're having real conversations, dealing with raw emotions, and healing from our past. With each episode I hope you begin to find your voice, go after your dreams, and become the woman God has called
We are done playing superwoman to everyone but ourselves. In this episode of Breakout With Kim, I discuss how we as women, specifically black women, have been forced into the role of being superwoman. We are constantly taking care of, and handling everything for everyone else. We show up to spaces with a smile on even though we're slowing dying on the inside. NO MORE! We are hanging up our capes, asking for help, saying no, and allowing others to grow up and adjust accordingly. So take a deep breath and let's get into it.
This episode is special to me because I recorded it during my trip in Belize! This episode I discuss how my gifts are making room for me. I was invited to Belize to do what I love to do, create, produce, and direct. I share how important it is to be prepared for the things you are hoping and praying for so when the opportunity knocks, we are ready!
In this episode I get real about my comparison journey and how watching others live their lives was crippling mines. And of course I shared some tips on what I'm doing to stop comparing myself to others.
What we're NOT doing this year is settling! I'm done! We have spent too many years accepting second best out. Living in fear that "maybe this is all I will get/deserve." Not this year. We are raising our standards and setting the bar higher and people and things can either rise to the occasion or GET LEFT!
In this episode of "Breakout With Kim" we discuss how negative self talk and thoughts begin to shape our world and become our reality. From making just one decision, I share how I'm beginning to change my life just by being aware of what I'm saying and thinking about it. I also give some tips on what I do daily to help get rid of negativity.
In this episode I share what "Breakout With Kim" is and why it's so important to me that we go on this journey together.
