Tomorrow, I am celebrating my second birthday this year. In two weeks' time, I will be celebrating my third birthday. If you are interested to know a little about Chinese traditions, listen to this podcast and visit my blog for a few Cantonese keywords in this tutorial.

There is no ‘a', ‘an', ‘the' in Cantonese. We use the measure terms 量詞 in front of the nouns. You will learn 5 basic Cantonese measure terms and a few nouns in this episode. There are many measure terms in Cantonese, so I will talk about the common ones in the next few episodes.
