Michelle volunteered for her first Pride Parade and shares her story of being able to be hands on with being an ally. Depression hit us both kind of hard, but we are still figuring it out and coming out of it!

Michelle and I come back together after what felt like weeks of being apart. We’ve both been struggling big time in our own personal fights with depression, anxiety and self doubt. My brother left for the Navy, not only am I sad and scared for him, but he has been such a pillar of support & it has just been a hard transition while being vulnerable and present with fear, feelings, and grief. . Michelle has been the pillar of support for her students, family, and friends while recovering from surgery, but had great news to share about her taking a chance on herself and investing in her future! I couldn’t be happier or more proud for her and of her! . Michelle is on prednisone and it terrible and makes you insane and we recount what it’s like to be on and off prednisone and absolutely losing your shit
