Many of us grew up hearing about the bucket analogy, an we were taught to believe that we could fill other people's buckets by complimenting them or telling them great things about themselves. In this podcast I propose that we can't fill anyone else's bucket. That filling our bucket is a job that only we can do, and when we expect others to fill our bucket, it only leads to the destruction of our relationships. Thanks for listening! Welcome back to AI Unraveled, your strategic briefing on the business impact of artificial intelligence.Today, we are doing something different. We are skipping the daily news cycle to focus on a single, massive piece of research that just dropped from a powerhouse team at Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, and the University of Washington that proposes the first proper taxonomy for Agentic AI Adaptation. If you are building or scaling agent-based systems, this is your new mental model. The researchers argue that almost all advanced agentic systems—despite their complexity—boil down to just four basic feedback loops. We explore the "4-Bucket" framework (A1, A2, T1, T2) and explain the critical trade-offs between changing the agent versus changing the tools.Key Topics:Intro: Why "learning from feedback" is the definition of adaptation. The Definition: What actually counts as "Agentic AI"?Bucket A1 (Agent + Tool Outcome): Updating the agent based on whether code ran or queries succeeded.Bucket A2 (Agent + Output Eval): Updating the agent based on human feedback or automated scoring.Bucket T1 (Frozen Agent + Trained Tools): Keeping the LLM fixed while optimizing retrievers and external models.Bucket T2 (Frozen Agent + Agent-Supervised Tools): Using the agent's own signals to tune its toolkit.Trade-offs: Cost vs. Flexibility in modern system design.Links & Resources:Read the Paper: Adaptation Strategies for Agentic AI Systems (GitHub): https://github.com/pat-jj/Awesome-Adaptation-of-Agentic-AI/blob/main/paper.pdfKeywords: Agentic AI, AI Taxonomy, AI Research, Stanford AI, Princeton AI, Large Language Models, LLM Agents, Reinforcement Learning, Tool Use, RAG, A1 A2 T1 T2, AI Adaptation, Etienne Noumen, AI Unraveled.

Recorded December 5, 2025 As December pretends to be festive while refusing to fully commit to Christmas, the AV SuperFriends gather to celebrate that special time of year when inboxes are ignored, productivity is optional, and every project update is deferred. Naturally, this means the conversation focuses on patent lawsuits, seasonal anxiety, and the true meaning of future-proof… which, as it turns out, might actually mean sealed in concrete for eternity. This episode opens with a warning to younger investors who take TikTok advice over historical perspective, especially around claiming Social Security early. Don and Tom walk through the guaranteed 8%+inflation benefit increase from delaying, why “take it at 62 and invest it” collapses under market reality, and how fear is driving a surge in early claims. They pivot to Bitcoin's sharp drop and why crypto speculation is driven by greed, not protection, before teasing Don's upcoming crypto short story. Listener questions cover bad long-term-care/annuity hybrids, overcomplicated “bucket” strategies, responsible portfolio risk, and finally a breakdown of two expensive high-volatility mutual funds—both easily beaten by low-cost index alternatives. 0:04 Message to younger investors about lacking market perspective 1:19 Why TikTok advice on claiming Social Security early is flawed 2:17 The real 8%+inflation annual increase from delaying benefits 2:27 The “take it at 62 and invest it” myth 3:47 Tom recounts Paul Merriman calling his allocation aggressive 4:49 Rising panic-driven Social Security filings 5:21 Don's 69 vs. 70 claiming decision 6:11 Survivor benefit logic many forget 7:42 Imagining a sudden 30% crash—except it's Bitcoin 8:29 Bitcoin's drop from 124K to mid-80s, plus MicroStrategy leverage 9:58 Crypto culture, crypto research, and Don's upcoming story 10:58 Crypto as a greed play, not protection 12:37 Emotions sabotage investing; the plan removes them 13:51 Why risk needs to match the plan, not ego 15:24 Crypto story teaser + Short Storyverses email plug 16:31 Listener question: NY Life Asset Flex LTC pitch 17:49 Why hybrid LTC/annuity products are weak and commission-heavy 19:47 “Bucket” confusion and the need for purpose 21:30 Caller Eugene: $250K “play money” 23:43 Reality check: could you watch $250K drop to $125K? 24:06 Why timing dips doesn't work 25:20 Better uses for excess cash in your 70s 27:08 Tom: time for full planning review at age 77 28:38 Fund analysis: Morgan Stanley Growth A 29:25 Fund analysis: Invesco Equity & Income A 30:30 Why moving to low-cost Vanguard indexes is the logical move Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode of Chat By The Pitch, Juan Martinez — founder of JMS Soccer and President of DKSC — opens up about the journey behind JMS Academy, his daytime elite training environment built for disciplined, goal-driven young athletes. Juan walks through how JMS started in 2018, why it shut down during COVID, and how it returned in 2023 with a renewed mission: character, mental toughness, individualized development, and a one-stop shop of services for players chasing big goals.Juan breaks down the full structure of the academy day: early drop-offs, morning training, strength and conditioning with Juan Robles, nutrition habits, multiple school blocks, afternoon sessions, tactical work, recovery routines, and the mental side of the game. He shares how he intentionally builds an environment focused on quality over quantity, creativity over rigid systems, and long-term growth over short-term results. For any parent curious about homeschool-based soccer development, elite training routines, or what it really takes for a player to chase a college or professional pathway — this conversation gives a raw, detailed look inside JMS Academy's first year.
"The ambitious artist, the artist who wanted Success, now had to do a bit of psychological double-tracking. Consciously he had to dedicate himself to the antibourgeois values of the cenacles of whatever sort, to bohemia, to the Bloomsbury life, the Left Bank life, the Lower Broadway Loft life, to the sacred squalor of it all... Not only that, he had to dedicate himself to the quirky god Avant-Garde. He had to keep one devout eye peeled for the new edge on the blade of the wedge of the head on the latest pick thrust of the newest exploratory probe of this fall's avant-garde Breakthrough of the Century ... all this in order to make it, to be noticed, to be counted, within the community of artists themselves. What is more, he had to be sincere about it. At the same time he had to keep his other eye cocked to see if anyone in le monde was watching. Have they noticed me yet? Have they even noticed the new style (that me and my friends are working in) Don't they even know about Tensionism (or Slice Art or Niho or Innerism or Dimensional Creamo or whatever)? (Hello, out there!) ... because as every artist knew in his heart of hearts, no matter how many times he tried to close his eyes and pretend otherwise (History! History!-where is thy salve?), Success was real only when it was success within le monde. He could close his eyes and try to believe that all that mattered was that he knew his work was great ... and that other artists respected it ... and that History would surely record his achievements ... but deep down he knew he was lying to himself. I want to be a Name, goddamn it!" - Thomas Wolfe, The Painted Word " Sylvia, didn't you see me wave my zen stick?" - Walter Paisley

Watch the full episode on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/@mreapodcastWe're sitting down with researcher and industry truth-teller, Mike DelPrete, to cut through the noise on tech, AI, and what clients really want from us. Mike's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and The Economist. He teaches, studies the business, and backs every take with data.We dig into the psychology behind home sales and why our industry is harder to “disrupt” than startups think. Mike shares fresh findings from secret-shopper research: Half of online and in-person leads never get a follow-up. We connect that to the three client traits that win listings and loyalty: 1. Be patient, 2. Be knowledgeable, and 3. Be transparent. We also explore AI in two simple buckets. Bucket one includes an operating-expense buster that helps us work faster and cleaner. Bucket two shows a shift in how people search. Then we get tactical by explaining how reviews are trust signals, why a tight niche can help you, and when a cadence of communication that matches each client's expectations builds value. If you're ready to trade opinions for proof, this episode gives you a clear playbook to act on today.Resources:Mike DelPrete's research hub: MikeDP.comListen: Context podcast by Mike DelPreteRead $100M Offers by Alex HormoziOrder the Millionaire Real Estate Agent Playbook | Volume 3Connect with Jason:LinkedinProduced by NOVAThis podcast is for general informational purposes only. "In lieu of flowers, please download Greg Cote's podcast." The Phillies' season ended in an instant, and in one of the worst ways possible, but Dan's more focused on the Intentional Walk of Shohei Ohtani. Also, Greg declined to come into work today, Roy may have violated the NHL Press Box "No Jersey" Policy, and Jeremy is paying off his punishment from The Bucket as the viral Arizona Cardinals fan with face paint from Thursday Night Football and it's definitely not racist and I legitimately have no idea why anyone would say it is and they should probably just shut the f*** up and leave Jeremy alone. Today's cast: Dan, Chris, Billy, Jeremy, Mike, and Tony. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
