After a call to Strahd, the party gets lost in The Mist, and then find a group of large stones standing in a circle. In the center... A mysterious woman sits and meditates alone.
The group barely escape with their lives as the Hags burn down the windmill in attempt to murder them all.
The group lay claim to an old windmill outside the gates and walls of the city of Vallaki. Inside are 2 hags disguised as old women. Here, they run an operation making magical meat pastries out of the bones of young children. A fight breaks out and chaos ensues. At the top of Round 3, the mother and 3rd hag of the coven, Morgantha, arrives and joins the fight. All hell is about to break loose.
The party loses a core member, then travel to an encampment at the base of Tser Falls where they have their fortunes read. This revealed the locations of several objectives needed to vanquish Strahd. Then they travel to the city Vallaki, and on way discover the old windmill they've all heard so much about...
An invitation has been given to the group of adventurers to travel to the heart of evil itself. Castle Ravenloft. Here, the Dread Lord himself provides them all with an outstanding display of food and drink and discussing his plans for them within his kingdom.
The party manages to protect Faygo but loses an ally in the process. Now, a raven urges the group to follow it out of town towards the road leading to the west. They arrive at a hangman's gallows where a corpse hangs lifeless from a rope. The adventurers were chilled to find that the corpse belonged to...
The adventurers and Ismark have pissed off the main villain, Strahd Von Zarovich. Now he aims to take Faygo by force and through his magical charm. Zombies and wolves charge the group from all directions in the graveyard. Find out if they will be able to drive them off and save Faygo in the process!
Now that the party has held up their end of the deal to put Father Donavich's son to rest, Donavich agrees to perform the funeral of Ismark and Faygo's father, but it is quickly interrupted by the main antagonist of this entire campaign. The Dread Lord of Barovia himself, Strahd Von Zarovich.
The party slowly descends into darkness yet again beneath the village church to destroy the abomination that is imprisoned within the undercroft. The undead son of Father Donavich. A VAMPIRE!
Ismark and the party take the body of the deceased Burgomaster of the village to the local church to be buried, but the priest has other ideas. With a stroke of luck from Evendur's hammer, the party managed to defeat the monstrous abonimation! Nevertheless, they aren't out of this dungeon yet! In this episode, the group runs for their lives as the world closes its jaws around them in attempt to bring them down with it! Only their wits will save them in this deadly skill challenge. The characters of our epic tale meet each other for the first time around a dark and murky pool of water in a mysterious and ancient forest. They can't get acquainted for long however, because a pack of wolves has encircled them and they look hungry.
This tale of sorrow begins as an unknown and ominous figure gazes into a seeing pool that peers into the lives of our characters just before they are swept away by a mysterious fog to a land of terrible danger and tyranny.
