Film for Thought

We discuss the process of making an entire short film from beginning to end. We go in-depth when it comes to our feelings about directing and writing movies, and our first impressions when getting a project off the ground.

We discuss how archetypes in storytelling, if done right, can be relevant even decades after being created. We use the example of Spiderman to explain how traits of relatability in characters transcend time, generations, and cultural barriers.

The pandemic has been hard on everyone, yet film students have had the daunting task of creating their first real projects under present circumstances. We discuss how the implications of COVID-19, and its restrictions, have made it difficult for students to produce their works.

The entertainment industry is currently on the precipice of change with current social movements and a higher standard of diversity being posed in and out of screen we discuss the changes that are soon to become a norm.

The corona virus has drastically changed the dynamics of the film/entertaiment industry. From development to deliverable, the entire audio-visual medium is being haulted to a grinding stop, and we are talking about it.
