Glory in the Ordinary

In this episode we are discussing some of the ways feminism has altered how we view our roles as women. This is a very important topic and there are so many examples that we could discuss, but I tried to pull out some of the bigger examples that aren't always talked about.

We are starting a 3 part series on what it means to submit to your husband. Part one is going to address what it means to be the weaker vessel, while part 2 and 3 will go more into practical advice and why we hate submitting to our husbands. I understand that this is a touchy subject, but I hope that you will allow scripture to refine you as we break down what God tells us about submission.

It can be easy to question if God is calling you to something when things get hard or you don't feel like it is something you can do perfectly, but is that really the way to determine God's will? Join me for a story about an incredible missionary who defied all odds and let's talk about what we can learn from this amazing lady.

Can desiring comfort be sinful? How much rest is too much? What if we work hard, don't we deserve to take time off? Today, I am answering all of these questions and talking about what it looks like to work with a heart that desires to serve the Lord, and not just doing what is easy.
