Podcast by Elliott Gotz
Here is the last episode of the 2021-22 school year! I had the privilege of interviewing Hayden. He is student who I did not have the opportunity to have in class, but after this interview, I definitely feel like I missed out. Hayden loves a lot of classic movies, and classic rock music. He balances being a member of marching band, the drama club, and the school choir- all while maintaining a strong academic standing. Thanks to all of the students who took part in the podcast this year!
In this episode, Abby and Lyric hop on Zoom (the day we got out for Spring Break!) to talk about family food traditions, pets, and superhero movies! The energy these two ladies brought to the podcast was a lot of fun!
In this episode, Bella discusses her love of performing arts! She talks about books that she used to love as a child, which inspired a love for creative writing. She also talks about her family and why her mom is so important to her! Again, shout out to @uptempoentertainment for the theme song!
In this episode, Noah B. sits down to chat about his hobbies, how much he likes working out with his friends, why his family is so important, and the challenges of living with ADHD in the classroom. Thanks to @uptempoentertainmentmi for the theme music!

First episode of the new year! Excited to sit down with Lauren B. to discuss her likes, dislikes, reading, and what she wants to do with her future. This episode was a lot of fun!
It is the final episode of the 2020-2021 school year, so we brought two for the price of one. On this episode, I sit down with Reid and Elsie P. to discuss school life, being twins, and the mindset change as they from from a 8/9 middle school to the high school! Thanks to everyone who has been listening to the podcast this year! The plan is to keep this going in the future. If you want to be a guest over the summer, either send me an email or send a DM on Instagram!
This was a special episode, as Christian sits down and spends a lot of time discussing what motivates him and drives him to be the person he is. We learn a lot about the bond he has with his family, the kindness he shows everyone around him (until they give him a reason not to), and his love of football. I also harass him a bit for his favorite weightlifting exercise!
On this episode, I sit down with Rheanna B. to talk about what makes her who she is. We get into her love for fashion, taking care of plants, cooking, and figuring out what her high school experience might look like.
We made it to 10 episodes! In this special-edition episode, two of the first guests, Klaire and Aiden, return to interview Mr. Gotz! Learn about his perspective on life, school, and figuring out your future.
On this episode, I sit down with Elina! She is the first person to be on the podcast who wasn't ever one of my students. I got to learn a lot about her, as we get into her acting, horseback riding. Also, it was inspiring listening to her talk about how living with two prosthetic legs is something she looks at as an opportunity, not a challenge!
