Climbing up the stairs, the Heroes could see that each step they took grew less and less worn, as though those that had used it had lost their nerve and turned around. Each step had fewer cracks, and wore more and more dust, as nobody had bothered to climb far enough to clean them. The Heroes heard a muffled noise from further up the staircase. It seemed like a growl of sorts, but they could not be sure. They were not deterred, and if anything it made them more curious. The bishop lead the way, with the leaders following closely behind. The Heroes were at the back of the procession, and could see nervousness creeping into the leaders. Whatever was at the top of the staircase caused them to grow fearful. The Heroes' curiosity grew ever more. Shoutout to Wellington for coming on! Recorded: September 25th 2023 | On this weeks episode, it's Bussin Bowl week so Will and Taylor are getting ready for it in their own ways. The boys preview the game and have some choice words for each other while they give their thoughts on how is going to go. They even make a "little" wager on the game. Following Bussin Bowl talk, the boys give out their "who's nuts of the week". they also get into to some deeper football talk as they get into the good, the bad and the the shit that'll get you beat. They have some serious nominee's for each but also have some funny honorable mentions that they throw out there. During this episode Taylor comes to the realization on how becoming a fan works. He always had a weird thought process when it came to people being fans of teams/players etc. But following this weekend in Notre Dame he finally gets it and he actually enjoys what all goes into being a fan of a team. Then the boys have on another one of their reoccurring guests, safety for the Seattle Seahawks, Quandre Diggs. Diggs is a little bit familiar with the show so the boys break the ice immediately getting into our tier talk. He then gets into his process during the week when it comes off injury as he has been dealing with a little bit of a hamstring issue. He talks about how nice it is having a coaching/training staff that trusts the player and doesn't put any added pressure on them since they've missed practice. Diggs also talks about the difference of teams after coming from the Lions. In his words he said it was like going from "the shithouse to the penthouse". Quandre is one of the boys and we can't wait to have him back on later in the season. Enjoy. 3:04 It's Bussin bowl week 19:26 Taylor is figuring out how to become a fan 30:37 Nuts of the Week 31:28 The good, the bad, the stuff that gets you beat 40:40 Is Mitch a bad fan?? 43:48 Swifties vs. NFL 52:15 Shit that gets you beat 53:37 It's Taylor's fault for the Myles Garrett debacle 56:11 Shoutout no free shoutout 1:03:29 Twisted Question 1:07:29 The boys hung out with Vince Vaughn 1:16:19 QUANDRE DIGGS INTERVIEW STARTS 1:18:02 Tier Talk 1:29:32 Shittiest moment 1:42:30 It sucks losingYou can find every episode of this show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or YouTube. Tucked away in a secluded corner of Oregon's rolling farmland northwest of Portland sits the Hahn Farm. Owned by Gary Hahn, a third-generation Odd Fellow and fourth-generation owner of the farm, it has become a beacon for Odd Fellowship in the jurisdiction of Oregon. Every year since the early 1990s, on the third weekend of September, the farm hosts a Degree Weekend unlike most others in Odd Fellowship. Candidates take the Initiatory and Three Degrees on Saturday and then the Encampment and Canton Degrees on Sunday. The setting for the Degrees could not be more amazing. The Degrees are performed next to a pond in a grove of trees planted especially for the occasion. The dramatic elements of the Degrees becomes immediate and tangible to the candidates as they literally live through the experiences of the Degrees rather than watching them acted out in a stuffy lodge hall, watching the video of the Degrees, or having the lecture form read to them. Gary Hahn sits down with Toby to tell the story of the Degrees on the Farm. We're also joined by Brother Mason Wolf of San Jose, California who traveled to Oregon to experience the perils of the Rough Road as he took the Encampment Degrees. He shares a compelling account of why live Degrees are so crucial to Odd Fellowship. The Shoutout goes to Bay View Lodge #109 of Redwood City, California for their efforts to remodel their hall and become a popular music venue. In the Odd Podge, Toby talks about a new member in Arkansas who posted about joining on Reddit, Ainslie shares his recent trip to Montana and his Odd Fellows discovery, Mike introduces us to his new car (after his old one died with 400,000 miles on it), and Mason recounts his visit to a Portland brewpub for some good music and a very successful event at his home lodge in San Jose.

Greetings, loved ones! This is a reprise of one of our favorite episodes to prepare the folks for our upcoming course... SOUL FOOD GENIUS!! Enjoy! Brought to you from North Carolina... we're being petty about eating RAW GREENS. Many of our ancestors derived good eats and nutrition from green veggies, cooked low and slow. So, why are people now eating raw greens? They are probably disconnected from culture and sacred foods, they're just too busy, or they don't know that you cannot derive the nutrients from these foods without cooking. We're here to educate y'all. Please take time for yourself, and make this sacred food with us! Enjoy, eat, and COOK THOSE GREENS! I love soccer. I love playing it. I love watching it (go US Women's Team!) and I love talking about it! I have been playing soccer for many years now. I have played on 3-4 different teams and finding the next team has always been simple. But this time was different. The team I was on for the past 5+ years disbanded over the summer. So, I started searching for s new team! This episode is my experience of how I thought I had found a great fit, but then how I found something even better. Before we go into the details, a quick detour in the different leagues in youth soccer. The top leagues are called “Elite” leagues followed by the classic league and then the premier leagues. I played in the premier league on my last team and was really hoping to join one of the elite league teams. I started researching teams while on vacation in Europe – thanks to our AirBNB hosts and their wifi

With training camps kicking off this week and the first pre-season game coming up on Sunday, there was plenty to talk about on the latest episode of Oilersnation Radio.Kicking off the podcast, we got started with a delicious debate about the biggest storylines coming into Oilers training camp. Whether it's Mattias Ekholm and Ryan McLeod being out to start camp, the players that are fighting for jobs, or who is going to win this year's Ty Rattie Award, there are a handful of stories that Oilers fans will be watching even though they aren't nearly as sexy as they used to be. From there, we walked through Michael Parkatti's hiring as the new Senior Director of Data and Analytics and whether the Oilers will actually use the service as a tool of evaluation. We also touched on the latest episode of the Mitts Off Podcast where Tyson Barrie spoke about the trade that sent him to Nashville and how it was disappointing to move on from a team with Stanley Cup aspirations. Lastly, we wrapped up this week's podcast with another edition of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold Performers to cap it all off.Shoutout to the episode's sponsors: Oodle Noodle: https://www.oodlenoodle.ca/ Cornerstone Insurance: https://www.cornerstoneins.ca/ Wilhauk Beef Jerky: https://www.wilhaukbeefjerky.com/Star Mechanical: https://starmechanical.ca/Visit www.nationgear.ca for merch and more.Follow us on Instagram @oilersnationdotcomFollow us on Twitter/Facebook/TikTok @OilersNationReach out to sales@thenationnetwork.com to connect with our Sales Team and discuss opportunities to partner with us! Welcome to episode 194 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swimrun Podcast! On deck this week is our race recap for the 2023 edition of the One Water Race. To help paint the picture of this epic event we welcome back to the show (for the third time) OG Swimrunner and race director, Thomas Ogander. Thomas and the team really stepped up their game for the 2023 edition of the race and we can't wait to share this race recap with all of you.But first…Training UpdateWe have just one race left on the 2023 calendar and we've set our “training gaze” to Ödyssey Swimrun Austin Pace Bend in early November. TBD on what the training will look like but the swimming and running will continue unabated.ShoutoutThis week we're shouting out Andy and the whole team at New England Endurance Events. They had to make the tough call to cancel Swimrun Cape Cod this past weekend due to looming Hurricane Lee. I, for one, really appreciated all of their communication during what must have been a huge bummer for everyone involved. The race looked like a lot of fun and it's already on the calendar for 2024. The race date will be September 21, 2024.Feats of EnduranceThis week's award is probably better named as the FOMO award. Shoutout to everyone that raced Ödyssey Swimrun Orcas Island over the weekend. Looked like an amazing day out there and congrats to everyone that lined up at Rosario Resort!Make sure to sign up for our LTBz Strava Club and join Swimrunners from around the world as they train for stuff.Thomas Ogander, One Water RaceIt was great to chat with Thomas. His enthusiasm, energy, and dedication is infectious and can't express strongly enough how massive a feat it is to bring his dream of this 250km race to life and then do it again. In this conversation we got his race director report, his focus on environmental awareness, and his plan for 2024. There's a lot of awesome content about this year's race so make sure that you head to YouTube to get your mind blown.Enjoy!~~~That's it for this week's show. Recorded: September 18th 2023 | In this weeks episode, the boys are back and reacting to some football again. We start off the pod with Will wanting to start a new segment "The Nut Player Of The Week". He tries to explain what he means by it and both Will and Taylor give their nominees. Following the boys' new segment, they get into the week that was in the NFL. They give their reactions to the Titans gutting out a win, how good Micah Parsons is and whether or not Taylor could block him, and Commanders sneaking out a win in Denver. Following the NFL talk, the boys get into their weekend in Athens, Georgia and recap their Fall Tour stop at UGA. They then get into the South Carolina v Georgia game and recap the college football landscape, They also look forward ot our trip to South Bend as we are headed to the Notre Dame vs Ohio State game. The boys second monthly guest, CJ Uzomah, phones in and sits down with the boys. He gives his thoughts on the turf vs grass fields debate that has been starting to erupt.
